1️⃣: Past is a buried deep woe

Past

Muzan kibutsuji finds a women called Aki tanaka to "experiment" with. by that muzan and aki had 9 kids together. Muzan wanted to see if any of the kid would be human-demon, can achieve to conquer the sunlight, and be a heir.

He firstly killed the only human child among the 9 at birth out of rage. He then brutally killed 2 of the children which were 2 weeks old even after how much aki tried to protect her children by putting them in sunlight to see if they'll be able to conquer it. After 3 of the remaining being 6 months old, muzan again tried to test them in the sun which caused 3 of them to die. At the rest being 6 years old he realised the sun testing is useless he started to abuse and tough train them 24/7 , he fed them luxurious human flesh even though they couldn't digest it being human-demon. Because of this 2 of kids died. After seeing that only 1 child is left he tried to be a tiny bit gentle with it. But still the tough training and abuse never stopped. He abused aki too when she tried to save her child from the abuse. Muzan started to notice that the last child is fond of aki, whenever he abused aki the child begs him to stop and takes the blame on themselves. By noticing this, whenever the child was stubborn to do anything he used the "help" of aki to make them do it. By help meaning abusing aki.

This last child was miyoko/kanako.

Miyoko was on the rage with muzan. She didn't see Muzan as a father, rather-more a monster. She tried to save her mother from the abuse as much as she could. When she turned 12, she met a boy lowermoon called "rui". They became "friends". In that time miyoko's strength was lower than lowermoons. Rui had "feelings" for miyoko.

As miyoko told him every, little thing, like how she hated muzan and all, rui didn't felt a little pity nor mercy for miyoko. He saw muzan as a god. And never was going to betray him.

He confessed to miyoko about his so-called feelings but miyoko being well-aware that demons didn't possess feelings, rejected him. Rui didn't take rejection well, and started to blackmail miyoko by saying that he'll tell muzan about all the plan and dreams she had of defeating Muzan once for all. By doing that miyoko agreed as rui started to identify miyoko as hes bride in the spider family. Miyoko liked non of it.

Soon miyoko got tired of it and snapped at rui then running away. Rui got furious and told muzan about everything.

This made Muzan even more furious then ever. As miyoko got home she saw how muzan was very brutally killing aki, she tried to stop him but was stopped by Kokushibo. She had to watch Muzan kill her mother brutally infront of her. Later on Muzan and miyoko had a great big fight, ending with miyoko yelling "i will kill you one day!" And muzan slapping her. After the fight muzan got to his room while miyoko was still in the living room after the slap. She saw a open door, not even wasting another moment running away .

She ended up in a forest meeting lady tamayo. Miyoko was in her demon form which caused her to go savage at lady tamayo for blood hunger. Lady tamayo was able to easily knock her out. Waking up miyoko noticed that she was tied up . After trusting lady tamayo she explained her whole past and how she wants to defeat muzan. Lady tamayo trusted her.

Miyoko begged for a cure of her demon side of the human-demon but lady tamayo didn't have a suitable cure. Instead she had given wisteria flowers to wear which had keepen miyoko's demon side in-control .

The wisteria flowers in miyoko's hair is the one keeping her in-control.

After that lady tamayo had taught miyoko about how to defeat demons and create a breathing style. Even though lady tamayo was a demon which couldn't have taught breathing style more precisely she still tried her best. After then miyoko was able to create her own breathing style called "music breathing".

Tamayo then had told miyoko to move at a slow pace like 1 year to reach hashira rank as the corp might get suspicious.

~ Miyoko changed her name to Kanako suzuki ~

Tamayo then told kagaya ubuyashiki about kanako saying that she's a orphan adopted by tamayo and she had no clue about her past.

Then after passing final selection, 1 year after miyoko reached hashira rank. After which as of current timing of Demon slayer season 1.
