LIAR
In the blazing heat of a summer afternoon, Detective Hoseok and Detective Jeon sat in their car, overlooking a packed highway. They had been searching for their target, Officer Min Yoongi, a man known for his strict adherence to traffic laws. The detectives scoured the area with their eyes, eager to find any trace of their quarry."Ah, look," Detective Hoseok exclaimed, pointing towards a figure in the distance.
Detective Jeon strained his eyes to get a better look. "Is that him?"
The detectives' hearts raced as they waited for the man to appear in the distance. Their search was finally over.
They watched as the man entered the flow of traffic, directing the vehicles with his hand signals. He was just as they had been told, a stoic and unflinching traffic policeman.
The detectives knew they would have to approach the man with care. He was known to be unforgiving when it came to enforcing the traffic laws.
Detective Hoseok's heart pounded with anticipation as the two detectives approached. He had been waiting for this moment for so long, and finally it seemed that they were about to catch the slippery traffic cop.
The detectives pulled over to the side of the road and rolled down the window to get a better look. The man, Officer Min Yoongi, was standing in the middle of the road directing traffic with his signature hand signals.
"Is that him?" Detective Jeon whispered, craning his neck to get a better view.
"It has to be," Detective Hoseok replied.
The detectives got out of the car knowing they had finally caught up with the man the boy suspect had mentioned.
"Excuse me sir," Detective Hoseok began in a firm voice. "We're looking for Officer Min Yoongi. Have you seen him?"
The traffic policeman turned towards them with a look of surprise on his face. "Yes, it's me. What's going on?"
"We'd like to ask you a few questions, but not here." Detective Jeon said in a firm voice.
The two detectives silently watched as they observed their target, Officer Min Yoongi, calmly staring back at them from across the table. They both sat and listened attentively as the radio played a soothing tune in the background. The scent of fried food filled the small cozy restaurant, but none of them seemed to be in a hurry to start eating just yet. Detective Jeon shifted in his seat and cleared his throat before speaking.
"So, Officer Min Yoongi, is it true that you took Park Jimin to the hotel that night and gave him help?" His tone was sharp as he raised a skeptical eyebrow.
Min Yoongi leaned back in his chair and let out a hearty chuckle. "Of course! I gave him money to pay for the hotel." He shrugged his shoulders innocently.
