"I'm so fucking bored!" Peanut whined, dramatically collapsing onto one of the guard beds.

A fennec fox animatronic sighed, putting his mechanical paw on Peanut's head, patting her.

"It's only a few more hours till open, you'll be able to play with the tots soon."

"But Kaiiiiiii, kids are nasstyyyy."

"You're right, you should entertain the adults instead."

Peanut grumbled, rolling off the bed and huffing.

Kai, the fennec fox, smiled a little at Peanut's antics.

"Then what do you wanna do?"

"I don't know!" Peanut whined, dramatically tossing her hands in the air. "I want you to think of something for me."

Kai shook his head slightly.

"You could go clean up your stage..."

"Something fun," Peanut butted in, "like going through the portal!"

Kai froze. "No."

Peanut's ears drooped. "But why not?!"

Kai placed his hands on Peanut's shoulders, staring her in the eyes. "I don't know what your obsession is with that fucking thing, and frankly, I don't care. It doesn't look safe, and I'm not letting you put yourself in fucking danger."

Peanut pouted, then sighed. Shaking off Kai's hands, she stood, stretching.

"Fine. Then I guess I will go clean up my stage."

She walked out quickly, leaving Kai to stare at her, concern taking over his features.

                        _-_-_-_-_-_-_

"Thank you for stopping by World of Imagination! We'll see you next time!"

Peanut barely listened to Shadowbit's words. The blue and purple animatronic cat was never creative, and she wondered if he just was too lazy to be.

He caught her eye and winked, motioning his head to backstage and mouthing the word 'now.'

Peanut sighed. Kai walked up to her, glaring at the cat, but Peanut walked away from the Fennec. She didn't feel like talking to either of them right now, but at least Shadowbit was easier to deal with.

She found Shadowbit sitting at his mock make-up table, an item just for show to look believable to those who wasted money on the backstage pass.

When she approached him, he turned sharply and enveloped her in a hug.

"Wasn't my performance absaloutely stunning darling?"

"Yea, I guess so."

Shadowbit released her, looking at himself in the mirror. "Thank you, thank you. I know I was the best out there!"

He turned to Peanut again, this time with an angry glare. "But you wouldn't know, would you. Where were you during my show, dear?"

"Your mom's house," Peanut snapped back, earning her a rough shove against the wall.

"Funny, I don't have a mother. I'll ask again darling, where. The. Fuck. Were. You?"

Peanut struggled in the cat's stronger grip.

"Look, I don't see why you fuckin care. I don't have to be at all of your shows, do I?"

This earned Peanut a slap. She let out a small yelp, curling into herself, her confidence vanishing.
