CHAPTER 3: Change of Plans

Pisces POV~

I walked into school with damp frizzy hair from the rain and no earbuds at about 7:13 in the morning. Not a good start to my day. I think the rain is beautiful- and refreshing but I just wish we could have a week of peace from this constant dreary weather.

I slugged through the halls on my way to the cafeteria for some breakfast and to see my lovely friends- who i'm sure are very happy this morning!

I got to our table and was greeted by 4 sleepy faces. Cap's head was flat on the table and her eyes were closed. She had about 5 Cheerios stacked on her head too! Cancer was munching down on an omelette , Aries had his face in his phone, and Gemini, of course, was eating Cheerios next to Capricorn.

"Hey guys!" I yelled, trying to get their attention. Capricorn jumped up and the Cheerios fell to the floor.

"What the hell?" She looked at the sad pile of cereal on the floor and then to Gemini who looked away and would not make eye contact. She rolled her eyes.

I was greeted with a few sleepy hellos from the group.

"Hey Pie! I was waiting for you to get breakfast." Capricorn told me, standing up.

"Good! Lets go before its all gone!!" I raced over to the lunch line looking for a nice stack of mini pancakes. Because this town is so small, the school has less mouths to feed and therefore, they make us lots more good food than the average school. Thank goodness.

I grabbed a plate of pancakes while Cap got a muffin and we walked over to the lunch lady to give her our lunch numbers.

We turned to walk back to our table and I could have sworn that Aries was staring at me. I notice this happening a lot and I don't know if i'm going crazy or if he actually has a little crush on me like Capricorn often to tells me.

"There he goes again" Cap said, giggling at the sight of Aries swinging his head away in the opposite direction.

"I don't know Cap. Aries has always been one to jump at any chance to tell a girl when he likes her. We've known each-other for a long time and he hasn't ever said anything." I told her and its true! Whenever Aries has liked a girl in the past, he never wussed out or kept it a secret. He would tell her right away like the impulsive guy he is.

"I think that's exactly the reason he wont say anything! He's probably scared to lose you and make things awkward in the group if you reject him."

"I guess that makes sense" I said as we neared the table. I really don't know how I feel about this. I mean, Aries? I've never thought about him that way, but I can't deny that he is pretty cute.

"No Aqua again?" I asked the guys.

"Nope"

"Nah"

"Guess not" They all replied at once.

"I'm getting worried. I know she hates school but she's never missed this much. And she hasn't been talking to us as much lately either." Cap expressed her worry to the group.

"What if she doesn't like us anymore and is trying to avoid us?" Cancer said with concern.

"I'm sure thats not the case Cancer, Aqua loves us!" Gemini said loudly

"Us, yeah, you? Not so much" Aries said, rolling his eyes. We all laughed while Gem pouted.

"I just wish she would talk to us about it instead of hiding away." I said

"Well then, lets make her talk." Gemini said with an evil look in his eyes. "Meet me in the boys locker room- 4th period. I have a plan" He continued right as the bell rang.
