Suddenly Hazel opened her eyes and shot up right out of the bed, her eyes wide open she glanced around the dim lit room as she sat up in a cold sweat. She panted heavily as her head fell into her hands, cracks of morning light flickered and glimmered thought the gap in the curtains as she sighted with relief and fell backwards onto the bed with limp limbs and tired eyes.

"It was just a dream..." she began to calm herself with this thought, she wiped her brow and laughed to herself with the feeling of stupidity.

Hazel then rubbed her big sleepy dusted eyes as she made angels in the thin sheets of silk which draped over her soft, bare, Lilly white skin.

She then rolled over and glanced at her clock.

"7:30..." she sighted as she then gazed up at the white, damp stained ceiling "better get moving".

She stretched as she finally rose out of the cream silky covers and basked in the warm glimmers of morning, her arms reached high and her toes wiggled as she sprung to her feet. she grasped the silky sheets and securely wrapped the silk round her bare body, with every step the sheets glided off the bed and weightlessly slipped across the oak floor.

Hazel then swiftly approached the large window, the suttle sound of song birds faintly twittered in the morning air which whispered thought the evergreen leafs, she genitally corseted the soft velvet flower curtains and smiled,  thrusting the curtains aside with wide arms and embraced the summer morning as it meet her with a golden, warm glow.

A sight of happiness escaped her lungs as she waltzed over to her wardrobe and flew open the doors, revealing a vast sea of colour and pattern, she browsed over each hanger, every item and ran her playful fingers along each dress which hung proudly amongst the sea of fabric. Until her hand finally stopped on a short, beautiful, flowing, elegant mint green dress with white pokadots.

She pulled it out from the crowed and draped it over herself as she admired it in the old framed mirror that lent against the wall. Her smile grew even wider as Hazel gently layed the dress on the bed beside a pair of tan leather sandals and other items of clothing.

"perfect" she giggled as she then closed the wardrobe and turned as she unwrapped the sheet to reveal her true self, she frantically got herself dressed with excitement and once she was almost ready she raised her hands up high and slid the dress down over her head as it then fell into place, she pulled up the zip and gave a little twirl.

Hazle then made her bed and neatened the sheets and pillows.

"something tells me that today will be splendid..."

Then she grabbed her pail blue back pack, flipped open the flap and filled it with the necessities such as: a canteen of fresh water, sunglasses, sun cream, camera, radio and spare batteries, Mobile phone and two bags of lollies and frutiy boiled sweets.

She then grabbed her bush and gently swept it throught her long blond hair humming to herself as she thougth of the day ahead. After that she put on a hint of nude lipstick and rose blusher, finally Hazle was finally ready to start the first day of summer. but yet as she left the room she felt deep down... something was not right.
