It has been many, many, centuries since Niklaus Mikaelson forbid his sister to be with Samuel Monroe. His sister, Rebekah, had lost herself ever since that day. She would slaughter about every human she saw. She wasn't the young sweet Rebekah they all knew and loved. Rebekah didn't care. All she wanted was to feel the warmth of the man she loved.

When meeting Samuel, all the Mikaelsons saw the light in her eyes any time they would see her around him. Before they all had to flee, Rebekah saw Tristin De Martel pierce a nearby sword into Samuel's stomach for falling for her. A creature. A monster. An abomination.

A 100 years after the Mikaelsons fled from their father, Samuel finally began to send letter to Rebekah. Oh, the joy she felt when she heard from him. Rebekah Mikaelson had once again found her smile.

Knowing that it was best to keep their distant, they knew, if Samuel wanted to live, he knew that he should continue writing letters to one another. However, Niklaus found all the letters from Samuel.

"Rebekah, didn't I tell you to never speak with Samuel", he questioned as Rebekah walked into her room with the biggest smile. The two found a good place to meet up and....do stuff.

Rebekah stood in front of her brother in horror. "Nik, I'm sorry. I just wanted to see him again. And he sent me a letter and-", she stopped talking. Who knew what Klaus would do know that he knew that Samuel contacted Rebekah first?

"Nik, just please don't do anything to him," Rebekah begged with tears. "I'll do anything, dagger me if you will, just let him live." Niklaus saw his sister beg, surprised that she suggested to put herself in a coffin, he rolled his eyes before walking away and coming back with a man.

A blond man, drenched in his own blood and his arms behind his back.

Samuel.

Niklaus smirked as he saw his sister gasp with horror. "Now, little Sammy," he began. "What have you done and I wasn't pleased with?" Samuel looked at Rebekah, but Niklaus forced his gaze away from his sister, waiting for an answer.

"I used magic to stop your compel and spoke with Rebekah," Samuel admitted as he was out of breath. He let out a groan as Niklaus stabbed him with a wooden stick, avoided his heart and shoving it very deep, making sure Samuel felt all of the pain.

"Nik! Stop please" Rebekah cried as she tried to run to Samuel, but she gasped as she felt something stopping her to come close to them. "Rebekah, he'll dagger you," Samuel said to her. "I don't care" she began to punch the invisible border.

"I'm surprised, he'll end his life just for you" Niklaus smirked as he shoved his arm into Samuel's chest, grabbing his heart but not pulling it out. He made sure that his sister saw every moment. "Any last words, sister."

"Stop! Nik, kill me instead. Just leave him be" she begged. Niklaus shook his head, smirking as he saw Samuel fall to the ground as his hand left his chest. Niklaus grabbed Samuel's face, waiting for his eyes to stare into Niklaus.

"You will tell Rebekah that you love her as you pull out your own heart and die," Niklaus compelled, ignoring Rebekah's begging and tears. Niklaus un-tied Samuel's hands, forcing him to sit up.

"Oh, Rebekah, I love you more than my own life," Samuel said, his eyes already look lifeless as he pushed his hand into his chest. "Samuel, stop please," Rebekah turned to her brother. "Niklaus! Stop this! You're hurting him!"

"I love you more than this miserable life I have. When I am with you, nothing else matters. I am so madly in love you with, my life began when I met you," he said with tears, heartbroken that she saw he like this.

"May we meet again my beautiful."

Samuel coughed out blood as he grabbed his heart. "Tell me you love me." Rebekah nodded. "I love you so much, Samuel. I am so sorry for everything I've done." Rebekah cried as she saw him with pain. "May we meet again."

Samuel smiled, his teeth covered in his blood before he pulled out his heart. He fell to the ground, his eyes still open. Luckily, the border between Niklaus, him, and Rebekah disappeared. "Now, have you learned your lesson?" Niklaus asked, Rebekah ignored him and ran to Samuel's dead body. Pulling his head to her lap as her tears fell onto his head.

"I hate you," she mumbled with her eyes filled with anger. "You'll get over it," Niklaus shrugged before walking away.

"Sammy, wake up. For me? You can do it, you said you'll do anything to make me happy, won't you" Rebekah caressed his hair, looking into his dead eyes. "If you're here, kill me too. I want to be with you."

She felt nothing, not even his soul comforting her or taking her life. Rebekah let out a scream of pain as she punched Samuel's body. "I hate you! Why did you leave me? Why didn't you just use your magic to see me? I wish I never met you."

Her head fell onto his chest, she cuddled his arm and laid next him.
