While Scott was gone in search for the keys, I decided to take a power nap on one of the desks in the classroom. Jackson was kind enough to place his leather jacket over me so I wouldn't be cold.

Third POV

Skylar Stilinski looked so peaceful as she dozed off into slumber. The older teens were worried for her well being after a night like this.

"Why would you bring her along with you two knuckle heads?" Pressed Jackson. "She's just a kid."

Stiles grew defensive. "Hey. I don't need you of all people lecturing me about my sister!"

Lydia looked at Sky sadly as she went over to her sleeping figure, she brushed her hair out of her face. "You have one special sister." She told Stiles. "If anything ever happened to her I don't know what I would do." Lydia started to rub Sky's back with her hand comfortingly. "Just make sure you look out for her. She's like a sister to me."

"Of course." Stiles replied.

"Well she is one tough cookie. Don't tell her I said that." Said Jackson.

Stiles looked over to Jackson. "Well that's one thing we can agree on."

A few minutes later everyone became startled by a loud roar waking the young Stilinski up.

"What was that?" I quickly said as I got up from the table and ran over to the teens.

Jackson was bent on the ground doubled over in pain as he held the back of his neck. The two older girls helped him off the ground. "No, I'm fine. Like, seriously-- I'm okay."

Allison looked towards him worried. "That didn't sound okay at all."

Stiles frowned and pointed to Jackson. "What's on the back of your neck?"

Jackson slapped his arm away from him and I offered him back his jacket which he shrugged back on quickly. "I said I'm fine!"

Lydia quipped in "It's been there for days. He won't tell me what happened."

Jackson scoffed at this. "As if you actually care."

Stiles interjected "All right, can we not argue for half a second here?"

Allison grew worried. "Where's Scott? He should be back by now."

We all heard a click at the door and Allison immediately went for the door. "Scott! Scott!" She yelled as she pushed the items away from the door and tried to open it only to find it locked.

"Where's he going?" Lydia asked no one in particular as Allison continued to bang on the door and yelling for Scott.

Lydia stopped her. "Stop! Stop! Do you hear that?" she asked as she looked around the room, all of us following her actions. "Listen!"

It was sirens. That meant my dad got the voicemail!

After finally being rescued we exited the building with my dad. Answering his many questions. "You sure it was Derek Hale?" he asked us.

Scott immediately replied. "Yes."

Stiles went along with it. "I saw him, too."

Dad then looked over to me expectingly. "I didn't see anything. I was too scared to see what was happening, but it could be." I didn't lie and I didn't know who it was.

Scott quickly asked. "What about the janitor?"

"We're still looking." he replied.

Scott was being pushy. "Did you check under the bleachers? Under them?"

My dad sighed at him growing annoyed. "Yeah, Scott, we looked. We pulled them out, just like you asked. There's nothing."

I glanced at Stiles wondering if the Alpha moved the body. Scott was getting defensive "I'm not making this up."

"I know I believe you I do." Dad stated while turning to look at us.

Scott raised his arm frustrated and sad. "No, you don't. You have this look like you feel bad for me. Like you wanna believe me, but I know you don't."

I knew my dad, he just wanted what was best for everyone. "Listen-- we're gonna search this whole school. We're gonna find him. Okay? I promise."

Another Deputy called for him making him leave us. "Stay. All of you."

Stiles tried to lighten to mood. "Well, we survived, dude. You know? We outlasted the Alpha. It's still good, right? Being alive?" he said as he patted my shoulder. I was still tired.

Scott looked to Stiles "When we were in the chemistry room, he walked right by us. You don't think that it heard us? You don't think it knew exactly where we were?" Thinking about it there's no way he didn't know where we were. I shivered at that.

Stiles frowned "Well, then how come we're still alive?"

Scott replied "it want's me in its pack. But, I think, first... I have to get rid of my old pack."

"Scott, what are you saying?" I asked him as Stiles crossed his arms expectingly.

"Allison... Jackson... Lydia... Stiles... you." he explained.

Stiles and I looked at each other in shock. "The Alpha doesn't want to kill us..." Stiles states in realization.

"It wants me to do it. And that's not even the worst part." Scott shares.

"There's a worse part?" I question at the same time as Stiles says "How in the holy hell is that not the worst part, Scott?"

"Because when he made me shift... I wanted to do it. I wanted to kill you. All of you." Scott finished glancing at us both in regret.

It was silent between the three of us. Not one of us wanted to speak a word. Something caught Scotts eye as he moved towards it us following suit. "There you are!" announced Deaton, Scotts boss.

Scott stood stunned. "How...? How did you...?" I looked between Deaton and the car he had been held hostage in and Stiles. I was just confused and suspicious now.

Deaton had a smile on his face as he said "Get out? Not easily. And, from what they tell me, I'm alive because of you. I think I owe you a raise."

Dad came up behind us patting my back as he pulls us away. "Guys, come on. Let's let the EMTs do their job. You can talk to him later." he says.

"Finally we get to go home!" I yelled.
