We pull into the motel parking lot, 5 star motel the sign said. It's been about an hour since I had layed my head on ethans lap, he hadn't made me move yet surprisingly. "has anyone called tara and let her know we're stopping here?" anika says now in the seat where mindy had sat.

"nope" says mindy whilst finding a parking spot that looked half decent. "should be sued for false advertising, ain't no way this is five stars" I sigh and ethan looks down on me. "here sit up" he says helping me up.

I sit up and he puts his arm around my neck which didn't last long as Mindy had found a place to park and parked. "alright guys so I don't think we all should go in at once and I think we should have two rooms to share just to be safe, yknow?" she said.

"who's going to go in?" chad asked. "Well we for sure shouldn't split up, we should have three people go in" mindy replied "I definitely want to go in tho" she added. "but won't that only leave 2 people to stay?" I asked scared by the idea. "well yea it's better than 1, we don't have an even amount of people with us to go three and three"

"I wanna go with you babe" anika raised her hand. "I guess I'll go with, can't let two girls go alone without a guy" Chad sighed and mindy side eyed him. mindy takes the keys out of the car and unlocks the doors, chad and anika look out the windows and slowly open the doors once they saw it was clear. "wait- mindy what about me and ethan? we have nothing to protect ourselves with.." I said whilst pointing at ethan now getting closer to me again.

"uhhh didnt sam get you a taser?" I gasp and move over away from ethan to go through my bag. "wait oh my god you're right!" I say whilst pulling it out my bag. "I know, I'm always right" she says laughing opening the door and getting out of the car. The three of them walk towards the entrance laughing. "ethan, climb up and lock all of the doors on your side." I say while starting to climb for the ones on my side. "no nickname?" he says while listening.

the way he pays attention to every single detail makes my stomach flutter with butterflies. We return back to our seats safe locked in the car. "sorry, I just don't have a good feeling about this. Maybe moving to new york isn't such a good idea like no matter what it follows us." my eyes start to water. He reaches over and swallows me in his embrace, his body is warm.

He pulls away and grabs my hands "hey- listen to me, you cannot think like that, you are going to be fine nothing is going to happen. moving to nyc is better than living in woodsboro you just cannot doubt it. Nyc has more people and more buildings making it harder and it won't follow us, I promise." he rubs my hands with his fingers.

"I know I know it's just I don't wanna get hurt again" frowning at the thought of it. Although we have only known ethan for about a year, we met a little after the final showdown with richie being killed, I had already fallen in love with him he is so sweet, kind and so innocent he wouldn't hurt a fly.

"shhh" he whispers and I laugh he always knows how to make me smile, either that or anything and everything he does makes me  smile and laugh...

"good to hear you laugh" he says and looks away no longer holding my hand. I hear a thud at the bottom of the car, near the front. Ethan must've heard it too because he looked at me with wide eyes almost like he had done something horrible.

All of a sudden the car doors unlock and I jump at the noise, the driver's side door creaks open slowly and I hear some kind of metal scraping against something.

"h-hello?" I stutter and no response was given. "whoever you are, show yourself!" ethan stays sternly "we have a taser!!" i grab the taser from beside me and scream "yea!" the metal sound stops and the door slowly shuts. I hear footsteps walking away loudly and when I look back through the back window I notice the writing wasn't there anymore and nobody was to be seen.

"hey can we go find the others inside? I don't feel safe" I say fastly and he just nods. We both open the doors on both side and I make a run for the front desk while ethan walks like it's a normal Sunday afternoon stroll through the neighborhood.

I see the others and I run up to them, anika was crying whilst holding her arm and mindy was holding on to her comforting her. Chad had keys in his hand, "yo what happened?" I asked confused.

"WE WERE ATTACKED!" Chad screamed. Ethan finally caught up to us and his face fell into a smirk for a second and then to a worried face.

"oh no! what happened?" he screeched looking at anika and Chad just stares at him. "we need to go now it isn't safe just standing here" mindy suddenly looks at me and Chad.

"ok ok we are room number 21, me, ezria, and ethan will go and then I'll come back to get you and anika." Chad tells her and then we run to the door. Chad quickly unlocks it and then pushes me and ethan inside "yo dude watch it" ethan yells but Chad was gone he had already started to run back. "whatever" he scowls.

"you ok ebay?" I ask him tiredly, he smiles at me softly. "yea I'm fine." I smile back and he pulls out his phone and started to type, I take his free hand and drag him towards the bed. "ezi what are you doing?" he chuckles.

he sits down on the bed next to me and I let go of his hand. I lay my head on his shoulder and he turns his phone off and puts it in his pocket. "I don't know, I'm bored" he lays back pulling me back with him "AGHH ETHAN" I scream laughing, he gets on top of me and starts tickling me.
"STOPPPPP" I drag the p out alot, more than I should've.

the door opens and ethan must've not noticed because he continued tickling me. "YO" Chad screams. "DID WE JUST COCKBLOCK YOU?" he laughs. Anika now had a bandage over her arm and she seemed to be fine now.  

"WHAT?" I scream and look as ethan quickly got up and acted confused. I started to giggle and I playfully punched ethan in the shoulder. "EEEE" anika squeaked. "THEY MUST BE DATING" mindy screamed at anika and they started fangirling. "EZHAN FOR LIFE" mindy squealed. "NO THEIR SHIP NAME IS ETHRIA" anika argued. "WHATEVER" mindy scoffed and ethan laughed nervously.
