"But I don't wanna move mom! This is where we have always lived! Here in this small town I know everybody and everybody knows me. What are we gonna do with our horses? They need us!" Dr. Pepper said frantically. "The horses will be fine, your uncle Mr. Pibbs will look after them. This is a once in a life time opportunity Dr. Pepper, I am not letting you waste it." Seltzer water argued back. Dr. Pepper ran to her room and slammed her door. She flopped face first into her bed. She didn't understand why her mom would make her move to the city. She had been a country girl all her life, she didn't belong with the uptight city girls and boys. She pressed her cheek into her pillow softly. She wanted to run far, far away.
