Jaddu's POV:-

To say I was curious would be an understatement. I walked up to where Akku was now sitting facing away from me drinking something from a glass.

"I'm sorry, but am I supposed to remember you?" I asked politely, thinking hard about it but nothing came to mind.

She swirled her seat towards me and she had a fake smile plastered on her lips.

"Ofcourse not. Why would the rockstar remember me? It's not like I'm worth being remembered." She muttered the last part to herself but I caught it nonetheless. I saw that despite her hard exterior she was actually pretty insecure.

I felt like hugging her and telling her how good she was, but I restrained myself. Afterall, I barely even knew the girl. Or maybe I did if what she was saying was true.

Before I could say something to her, she abruptly stood up and kept the glass back on the table behind her. Turning towards me, she started tugging on my hand, pulling me towards the door while walking backwards herselves.

"Let's just not go there today. I actually like it that you don't remember anything. It's a fresh start." She said and by the time she finished we were out of Elize and Virat's house.

"But.." Before I could utter another word in protest she just stopped in her tracks and I ran into her by default. I pulled back a little but not fully and our bodies were still almost touching. She stared into my eyes and I could see a spark in them that was not present before.

She brought up a hand to my cheeks gingerly touching them as if I would vanish any second.

"I can't believe it. You're here standing before me." She muttered and I guessed she was actually talking to herself and not me.

I didn't want to bring her out of her stupor but I couldn't help but comment on that.

"If you want me to not ask you any questions you'll have to stop talking about it."

The look on her face suggested that I had just burst her bubble and she blinked, stepping back so that there was a healthy distance between us. I instantly felt wierdly incomplete and wished I had not spoken up.

"Fine. I won't. Not tonight. Tonight we make new memories." Coming back to herself she spoke this as if announcing it to the world, before she walked up to what I suppose was her car and got it. I followed suit.

Turning towards me she tsked. "Getting into cars with practically strangers? I'm dissapointed rockstar."

I chuckled at her attempt to lighten the mood. "We aren't actually strangers as we both are technically on the cricket team, me as a player and you as our physio. Plus, I'm sure all the guys saw us walking out together. They know I'm not usually interested in girls that easily so I'm sure most of them were watching me like a hawk." I justified my actions only later realising what I had confessed to.

"Oh." Was all she said and I was grateful of her for not commenting on my statement.

She started the car and Lil Wayne's Romance started blaring out of her speakers.

"Seriously?!" I asked her. Though she seemed like a tough girl I had never expected her song choice to be this.

"What?" She challenged almost daring me to comment on her song choice. To be true the look on her face kind of scared me so I just shook my head and didn't say anything.

Next song that came on was Teardrops on My Guitar by Taylor Swift and I was bewildered to say the least.

"Ok I gotta ask, you're a Lil Wayne fan and a Taylor Swift fan?!" I blurted out before I could stop myself.

"Yes." She said nonchalantly.

I waited for more but I realised that was the only explanation I was getting out of her. I decided to just sit back and go with the flow.

Soon she stopped the car infront of pretty large and old warehouse like building.

"Are you going to kidnap me? If you are you should rethink your plan because quite frankly nobody will pay ransom for getting my ass back." I only half joked.

"Stop being a wimp and just get out will you." She commanded and I obeyed, stepping out and following her to the door.

She opened the door with a key she had on herself and I noticed that the lock was actually pretty new and wasn't rusted like the rest of the house.

Walking in behind her I saw something which made me catch my breath, when she switched on the lights.
