"Is your wound not healing?" Sei asked while looking at your bloodied and ruined glove. "It is healing, just slowly." You replied while feeling the wound finally close completely.

"Which noble is in charge of this place?" You asked while taking off both of your gloves.

"Lord Crowley Eusford, the thirteenth progenitor." He replied.

"Hmm, how creepy! Look at this, Sei, they've got some crucified humans." You said while pointing at the unconscious soldier.

"Please don't get distracted, Lady (Y/n)..." He mentally face-palmed, and you turned to look at him.

"You're working under me so that means I get to do anything I want, right?" You asked with a smile to remind him of his place. Even if the two of you were friends, you still preferred not being told to do things.

"Yes, of course. I'm doing all of this for your safety." He replied while sweating internally, reminding himself not to cross the line with what he says or does with you.

"Let's go in now, the air here smells like nothing but blood. A change of atmosphere would be nice."

"Am I interrupting something again?" You asked with a grin while peeking from behind the door. You looked at the blonde vampire who was kneeling, drinking her master's blood from a small cut on his finger.

"Not at all, come in." Crowley replied, and Horn scurried away from him with a blush.

"It's been a while since we last saw each other, how have you been?" You asked while going into the room. Sei followed after you, and he closed the door while trying to avoid eye contact with the man who was in front.

"Good as always." He replied, taking notice of the man who was behind you. "Yusei, right? Have you cut your hair? You're starting to look a lot like Ky Luc." He added.

"I'd rather not look like Ky Luc, thanks..." He replied.

You knew that Sei and Ky weren't exactly on good terms being from different factions and all, so you brought it upon yourself to change the subject.

"The hostages outside, did you get attacked by the humans too?" You asked, walking to the nearest window and looking down at the crucified hostage.

"Did you get attacked too, (Y/n)? I'm sure fighting in that pretty long dress is a real pain!" Chess butted in, and everyone looked at her.

"I know, right? Before I came here, I did almost fight someone. It was really uncomfortable, I couldn't move properly at all..." You said while looking straight at her clothes.

"I'm sure a little trade wouldn't hurt, right?"

"What?!"

-ˋˏ ༻♡༺ ˎˊ-

"This feels much better." You said while trying to move around in your new dress, which you took from Chess.

"L-Lord Crowley, this dress is a little too long on me..." Chess complained while looking down in embarrassment. "I can cut it for you, if you want." Sei offered while putting his hand on the hilt of his sword.

"No way!" Chess shouted before hiding behind Horn.

"Ah, those two are bickering again, it reminds me of the old days." You said while walking to Crowley, leaning on the window beside him.

"Aren't they cute?" You asked, going silent after hearing something.

"Something's coming!" You shouted.

"Stand behind me."

Without a second thought, you ran behind Crowley, using him as a shield from the explosion.

"Ugh, what the hell?!" You shouted while looking at the mess everywhere.

"What's this bird thing?" Crowley asked, and you went beside him to see. In his hand was a squirming black and green bird which soon disappeared.

"Lady (Y/n), are you all right?!" Sei ran to you, checking for any lethal injuries. "I'm okay, I swear. Just a few scratches, it'll heal in a few seconds. Fortunately, I had a good shield." You replied.

You turned back to where the attack came from, inspecting the soldiers one by one. "We're being watched." You put your pointer finger and thumb on top of each other, looking at the familiar sniper who was in between your fingers.

"I see some familiar faces, too." You said while waving at them, not listening to what Crowley was saying.

"Familiar face?" Guren asked while looking at his long-time friend.

"Yeah, really annoying too. Be careful, Guren, she's undoubtedly good at close combat." Shinya replied while looking at the waving noble through his scope.

"She can't be better than me." Guren replied with full confidence.

"We'll see about that," Shinya replied with a smile.

Oh boy, this was going to be a long day.
