Herrscher of the void just smirked and turned around, she entered her portal. Once she passed, the portal starts shrinking.
"Oh no you don't!"
Summoned the crusher bunny at my side and aimed at the portal. But before i could make my shot, someone grabbed my arm. It startled me a bit until i glanced at the perpetrator.
Theresa
"Wait, Alyona!"
"She got Mei, we have to take her back!"
"Acting recklessly won't get you anywhere!"
I bit the tip of my bottom lips in frustation, i could've prevented her from being taken by Kiana's Herrscher persona. Theresa returned to her position and ordered the crew member to look around for any Honkai energy fluctuation.
"She has to be near, somewhere" Wendy said patting my back. "By the way, do you always wear that on your head?"
Huh? I touched my head and noticed something on top. Like a... Ball? I grabbed whatever on top of me with both hands.
"Ai-chan?"
"Yo~!"

Ai-chan flew out of my hand and began to float around.
"Don't worry Alyona, Ai-chan will try her best to help!" She said giving thumbs up.
This flying cabbage...
But suddenly out of nowhere we got a call from Einstein. And at the same Ai-chan suddenly got shocked of something. Seeing her in panic i, asked her.
"Ai-chan, what's wrong"
The alarm turned on once again.
"A Massive spike of Honkai Energy detected from the base!!" - Ai-chan screamed as she vanished into a bunch of green particles.
At the same time, the screen lits up showing concerned Einstein. Inside her mech.
"Theresa, i'm sure you should have noticed this by now, right?"
Theresa nodded, Einstein then turned her mech's front camera to show the others the current situation, she was standing besides hundreds of AE mechs. Then the camera turned to the otherside of the view.
"We detected a large quantity of Honkai energy was being released there"
From a wide field, a strand of purple lines and huge pink mass of energy was seen from the field. The camera zoomed in and showed Mei trying her best to evade the Herrscher.
It was pretty clear that the Herrscher completely towered Mei in terms of raw power, but something is off about mei. Her whole body is glowing purple and she evaded those attack as fast as a lightning would strike.
"Could it be that Mei is..." - Theresa
"Using her power?" - Alyona
Theresa seems to be thinking about something right now.
