Chapter 1

Hi! Also a warning, there is mention of rape near the end so if your not comfortable with that then I apologise. Anyways welcome and enjoy!

'I have to get out of here!' I thought as I sat in this cell, cold and hungry. I haven't changed my clothes in weeks and I smell just awful! How am I going to get out of here when there are villains everywhere!?! The drugs stopped my quirk, No one is looking for me, no one cares about me. I have nothing. I don't even have any memories from my younger years, only the one of being taken... I stand up and look and my tear stained face on the shattered mirror across from me.

Walking around my cell, I notice something strange. I halt at the cell door and poke at one of the bars. It opens, revealing a dark hallway with no one to be seen. I walk out quietly so no one can hear me and I go over to the door. About 5 steps on the other side, someone suddenly puts their hand on my mouth forcefully, making me shush. I recognise the feeling of those hands anywhere.... Dabi. "Ssshhhhhh" he says quietly in my ear, leading me to a back alley where the rest of the league won't find us. "I am going to lift my hand from your face and you are going to stay silent. If you scream I will cremate you where you stand." As he slowly lifted his hand from my face, I turn to face him and whisper to him "Dabi what the fuck!"
"I'm letting you go. I can't stand watching them hurt you anymore."
"Oh ho hooo that it rich coming from you burno!" I whisper yell at him.
"Hurry up and leave before I change my mind." He threatens.

Not wanting to take the chance, I make a run for it and run and run and run. Until I pass out on the side of the road.

Faintly, I can hear people talking around me. They don't sound like the league though, so I keep my eyes shut to listen in. I have never heard these voices before. "I looked at her records and it's as though she doesn't even exist! I can't find her family, I can't find any medical certificates, she's like a ghost!" I heard someone say.
"Well if she doesn't have any family then she has to stay somewhere! She's so young she can't live by herself." Another voice spoke. Slowly, I open my eyes to see a bright light. "Am..." I mutter quietly, "am I dead...?" I ask to no one in particular.
"She's awake!" A loud man with long blonde hair spoke almost yelled in my ear. He was sitting on the chair next to my hospital bed. "And no your not dead." He stated. I sit up quietly, looking at him quizzically.
"Wh-who are you...?" I ask, deeply confused.
"You don't remember? I'm the guy who called to you after you passed out in the gutter. My name is Present Mic" he said, obnoxiously loudly.
"Uuggh I have such a headache.... And the rest of me aches too" I groan, clearly in pain.
"Well if your still sore then you will have to stay here for a few more days under observation. Just until you feel better that is." The doctor said "here. Wash down this paracetamol with this water. It will help with the pain" he said, handing me the pills and the water. After swallowing it he asks, "so.. what's your name? Do you remember?"
"Uuuhh........ y/n! Y/n L/n." It took me a second to remember before telling him.
"Ok then, Y/n, we will get out of your hair. Get some rest." The doctor spoke once again.
"Ok, thanks doc!" I replied with a faint smile.

Damn, my quirk really hasn't come back yet huh? How long has it even been since my escape? I don't know. But what I do know is that I need to get some sleep.

I lean back down and curl up into a ball, crying softy before closing my eyes to sleep.

The next day when I woke up, there were people in here again. There were more though this time. Not much more... but.. still more. Looking around, I can see the loud blonde guy from yesterday, a slightly shorter, black haired man that looked extremely exhausted, and a nurse who were all talking quietly amongst themselves.
"Hey, your awake" the nurse said with a rather gentle voice.
"Yeah..." I said quietly, yawning.
"Um.. if you don't mine me asking, what is your quirk?" She said questioningly.
"My quirk is called Solar Sign. Basically I can use the power of the zodiacs. For example, Pices helps me breath under water, Aries gives me fire manipulation, ect... why?" I respond meekly.
"Well we wanted to know whether or not your quirk was dangerous so we could know whether or not we needed to keep you here any longer. It seems to me as though we don't so you will be released today." She said.
"Wait... how am I going to be discharged if I don't have a place to live...?"
"Well we have a couple hero's here who have decided they want to take you in because you have no place else to stay. Have you heard of the hero Eraserhead?" She asked
"Um.. no, I haven't. Who are they?"
"Well you see, he is a teacher at UA and he thought it best that you stay with him because you don't have anywhere else to go." The nurse said.
"Oh.. ok"
"Hello. I am eraser, you can just call me Shota though." The tired man introduced with a hand out for me to shake in greeting.
I took it hesitantly. "Y/n L/n"
"So, y/n, if you don't mind me asking, what happened? Why were you running so fast?" He said in a slightly empathetic yet tired voice.

"Well... when I first got my quirk, I accidentally lifted the entire foundation of our house up in the air. This was the use of my Capricorn powers, earth manipulation. My parents were still inside but because my mum had a quirk that could control gravitational fields, she managed to get herself and the house down safely. She also managed to get me calm because I was really shaken up. News got out about how powerful I was and that I was dangerous. This brought not just the attention of the civilians, but of the villains too. After a while, things got to dangerous for us and we had to move here, where there would be more pros around to keep us safe if something were to happen. Not long after, it seemed that the villains that were after me had tracked us down somehow and they came to our house. There were so many of them... they were at every exit, including doors, windows, all of them! I remember it like it was yesterday. They set fire to the house to smoke us out. There were blue flames everywhere! They sent in four people. One was tall with dark hair and he had purple burns all over his body. One was a younger looking blonde girl with a lot of moves. And the other one was a blue haired man with hands all over. And the other one... my... my dad... I was hiding with my mum in her bedroom. All of a sudden the bedroom door just started to...decay... like it was nothing... then those four walked in... and then the one with the hands... he..." I had burst into tears at this point.

"Hey, it's ok." The man said in a soft voice.

I smiled at him softly before continuing. "He grabbed my mums neck and told me to come with him. Me being me, I didn't realise what he was capable of... so when I said no... he... he killed my mother. Her last words to me were 'run, run away from this place, stay safe'. I couldn't take it. I couldn't take the pain. So when I realised that my dad wasn't going to help me... I was shit scared. I was just the 6 year old who was completely helpless and in need of rescuing. But no one was coming for me. The only people I knew were my parents but one was dead and the other was a traitor. The villains took me to their hideout using this purply coloured worpgate thing. They drugged me so that I couldn't use my quirk and they tortured me to no end looking for answers. I don't even remember the questions they asked me before cutting, beating and raping me. I only remember the pain. This went on for years until finally I noticed my cell door unlocked. I just... left. I made it 5 steps before someone finding me. It was the flame guy, dabi, he took me to a back alley and he... he let me go... I just made a run for it and now here I am..." I said, exhausted.

The room was silent. I didn't know what to do so I just curled up into a ball and kinda looked at shota. I don't know what it is about him but for some reason I felt like I could trust him.
