Y/n Diggory walked down the halls of the seventh floor of Hogwarts, mentally cursing herself for forgetting her bag which had her homework in it. As she turned the corner to the room, she was glad it was still open meaning that she can take her bag and leave faster in order to complete her homework and sleep since it was a Friday evening and can relax for the weekend.
As she entered the gloomy room, she saw something that made her heart shatter, then drooped down her stomach. Her boyfriend, Harry Potter leaning in to kiss Cho Chang, her dead brother's girlfriend. She just ignored them like it was nothing and strode into the room to get her bag which was on the bench across from them.
Noticing Y/n's presence the couple quickly jumped before they even kissed. Harry and Cho looked around in confusion as to why they were in this situation. Harry's eyes fell on Y/n who was on the verge of tears and her bag slung over her shoulders.
"Care to explain?This Is definitely not a slay" Y/n said through gritted teeth, her eyes giving the cold stare. "Y/n, it's not like that!" Harry exclaimed.
"Really? With my brother's girlfriend?! Very manly of you, Harry" Y/n said with tears in her eyes
"Y/n- Please! It's not-" Cho started but was cut off by Y/n glaring at her.
"I thought you liked Cedric? Or was that not what it looked like too?" Y/n regretted saying that to Cho as she let out a sob.
But enough of that shit. Cho was not the only one who lost Cedric. Cedric is- was her brother. Y/n was his family, his sister.
"Y/n! It was a-"
Y/n hit Harry's chest as she broke down. It was too much for her.
Her brother dying, her getting tortured by Umbridge, her friends turning on her because she supported Harry and was with Harry. Some Slytherins calling her filthy and foul names. And for the cherry on top, she caught Harry trying to snog Cho, her brother's girlfriend.
Harry knew what she went through and just stood there while she hit him, then slowly embracing her. Cho left, her face red and tearstricken.
"Y/n, it was a mistletoe, darling" Harry said softly. Y/n looked up instantly disbelief in her eyes as she scoffed. She pushed Harry away.
"Nice excuse" she said, her voice dripping with venom.
"No, really" Harry said as he pointed at the ceiling, to a thick bush of what looked like a mistletoe.
"Oh" Y/n said softly, her cheeks burning with embarrassment.
Harry just chuckled as Y/n quickly hid her face in Harry's chest mumbling a 'sorry'.
"It's fine, I would've reacted the same if it was you and another guy" Harry said kissing the crown of her head.
"So, forgiven...?" Y/n said groaning as she acted so impatient with the situation.
"Forgiven." Harry smiled as he kissed her cheek and lips.
"Good, or I would've given you a smack if you didn't" Y/n deadpanned.
