Y/N had been at Camp Campbell for a while and had been having the time of their life.They had made friends with Preston,could go into the woods whenever they wanted too,and all around they were happier with their life.
Unfortunately,the summer had to come to an end,and the last day rolled around bringing fresh anxieties and fears with it."Y/N?Y/N!!!" You jolted out of your trance,and saw Max waving a hand in front of your face."What?Sorry,I zoned out there." You shook your head,and Max rolled his eyes."Whatever,your mom is here." "Mom?Nonononono I thought Dad was coming what's mom doing here someone help I can't breathe I need her gone WHERE IS DAD??" Your palms started sweating ,and your breathing got shakier as David,one of the camp counselors led a tall woman in business attire over to you."Ah,Y/N!Do you have your stuff ready?You know we don't have time to waste." Your mom towered above you,and poison laced every word.She had on a sickly sweet smile. You shook your head,and you could see that David looked concerned."I-I'll go grab it." You spun around and took of running for your tent. Once in there,you started hyperventilating. Your chest felt tight and your mind was racing. It was supposed to be your Dad coming,right? You sat on your bed,gripping your hair. Warm tears filled your eyes and spilled down your face."Y/N?You were taking a while in here,is everything alright?" His eyes widened when he saw your tearstained face."Y/N?..""I can't go back." You sobbed."I can't,she'll hurt me again." He walked over to you and sat down next to you."What do you mean?""She hits when she's angry,"You looked up at him."Or she throws stuff.A-and she says if I tell anyone,she'll..."The rest of your sentence warped into a sob."Hey,it's gonna be ok.I'll help you."Lifting your head,your saw David,arms out. Pulling your self up,you walked over to him and wrapped your arms around him,as he did the same to you."I'll protect you,Y/N."

First oneshot done!This was my first time writing anything like this,so constructive criticism is appreciated.I may make a part two,but who knows.
