Nicknames and Friends

We've been walking for a few days, as Lii finally stopped...
"Here it is..."he said and pointed onto a big tree
"So we're supposed to met your friend here??" I asked curiously. I tought it was quite exciting to get to know the persons or one of the persons, he's befriended with (expect me ofcourse, cause we've been wandering around for about 2 weeks and became quite good friends!!!))

We waited for hours, but nobody came.
The sun was starting to set and still noone was here...
I got more and more worried, as the sun was fully gone and still noone had arrived...

Lii was also worried, as you could see him sweat.
The darkness overruled us, as we sat near an old road, waiting for Lii's friend to get here....

We hid in bushes and it got colder and colder.
The night air, as cold as it was, hurted inside my throat.
It got worse and worse, till I eventually started coughing.
I couldn't see much because of the darkness, but I felt eyes on me. Lii probably got worried, because he patted my back and I could make out the outline of his head as he looked at me.

Then we could make out the sound of the horseshoes on the ground... It got closer and closer, until we eventually saw a light flickering.

As I sat on the horse drawn carriage I shivered...
It was even colder, because of the wind...
The horse drawn carriage, more likely an covered wagon wobbled on the path/way/road...
There were many holes so I got thrown around inside the (now so called) wagon.
I scolded as I heard a chuckle.
It seemed like Lii taught it was funny, how I was thrown around...

"Asshole.." I said not even looking at the person.
That appeared to be a big mistake, as I heard a unknown voice say: "Thats not how you greet somebody, do you?"
I turned around and flushed in embarrassment.

I looked into the face of a girl....
She had dark skin, black hair, in a high ponytail amd baggy clothes, with some blacksmith tools around her waist.

"Oh, I-im so sorry!" I stuttered out.
Why had I been so dumb...
Lii even told me that I'm going to meet one of his friends...
Damn... bad first impression.

I didn't even dare to look her in the eyes...
I suddenly felt two arms around my sides...
The girl hugged me and chuckled.
"Don't worry Man, I understand ya.... I've been growing up with Lii, he is an idiot sometimes... No need to panic!"

The girl seemed nice and so I slowly calmed down and sat back, as she let go, relaxing myself a bit.
"Im Aurin!" I said smiling at her.
She smiled back and said, "Im Mona!"

Then we suddenly heard a thud.
"Who?" I shouted, then I saw an Lii, knocked out..
"How did that happen now?" I asked myself and let out a sighn...

"He got hit my a pan!" Mona shouted and crawled over to Lii, leaving the wagon without a driver.

"Mona!" I said, looking at her with disbeliev.
I didn't know how to drive/steer a wagon...
"I can't!" I simply said and pointed over to the curbs(?).
She nodded and quickly crawled over to the seats...

I myself, crawled to Lii and put his head on my lap.
What an asshole...
He shouldn't have driven without packing everything away.

I sure was mad at him, but that didn't mean I wouldn't help him.
I grabbed a nearby shirt, soaked it into water and put it on his forehead.
Hoping he wouldn't mind when he woke up, I started braiding his hair out of his face.
He looked so peaceful...

Suddenly he striked up, hitting me with his head.
"Oww!" I groaned looking at him angrily.
"What happened?" He asked.
"You got knocked out by a pan... and you were unconscious until now, when you decided to hit me with your head!" I said sharp...

It maybe wasn't fully his fault, but he mustn't sat up so quick... Thats when he decided to say sorry.
He apologized and thanked me for helping him...
Funny...

"Guys, put the lights out and be quiet!" Mona said in a demanding tone. "OK!" I immediately said. I don't know her for long... probably only a few hours, but if Lii trusts her I'm doing too.
