          The entirety of the Auradon Prep student body was assembled into the school's grand auditorium. They weren't told many details about why this grand assembly was called, just that the soon to be king had an announcement. It wasn't mentioned that this assembly was also being broadcasted to all of Auradon or what the announcement was, but there'd been rumours. Everyone in Auradon Prep had heard the latest rumour that Ben was planning on bringing villain's kids off the isle of the lost, but those were just rumours. Ellie Charming, the youngest of Cinderella and Charming's children slipped into a seat next to one of her best friends, Sonny White, the daughter of Snow White.

"So, do you think the rumours are true then?" Ellie asked the dark-haired girl.

"They can't King Beast would never let him," the boy sitting on the other side of Sonny answered for her, the boy being her older brother Sterling.

"She was asking me, idiot," Sonny snapped at her brother. "And anyway, Ben's going to be King in like what a week, if he wants to let kids off the Isle his dad won't be able to stop him."

"She's got a point," a fourth person chimed in.

"Oh so, you're on their side now," Sterling said, turning to the girl that spoke, who was sitting in the row behind them with the rest of her cousins.

"Side?" Grace questioned, leaning towards the three royals. "you mean the side with facts? Then yes, I'm choosing their side. Plus, I like them better than you," she added, leaning back into her chair. Grace was the daughter of Grumpy, one of the seven dwarfs, and also another one of Ellie's closest friends. 

"I need to get some new friends," Sterling muttered, slumping down in his chair.

"You keep saying that," Ellie pointed out.

"and you still haven't done it," Sonny added.

       Fairy Godmother stepped onto the stage and over to the mic, starting to introduce the Prince. "shh, Ben coming," Grace's cousin Hani said to the younger teens, as the microphone let out a loud squeak of feedback.

"don't shush me, if anything you should be worried about waking Seeley," Grace insisted, pointing toward their other cousin who'd fallen a sleep on yet another of their cousin's Doug's shoulder.

"Just please be quiet. Ben's about to speak," Hani said, after sparing a look at the pair's sleeping cousin.

"Alright," Grace muttered.

"Uh-," Ben started to say, having took the stage from Fairy Godmother. He looked nervous. He was nervous. "As you know, years ago my father King Beast banished all the villains from the land of Auradon to the isle of the lost." The crowd watching cheered.

"is this actually going where I think it is?" Ellie whispered to her friends.

"Now," Ben continued as the cheering died down. "I've come to realize that the descendants of those villains who up up until now have lived in the shadow of their parents wrong doing desire a chance to determine a path of their own."

"Oh my gods, I don't believe it," Grace whispered, leaning forward in her chair.

"It can't be," Sterling insisted.

"oh but it is," Ellie added, as Hani shushed the group again. Grace waved her off, toning back into what Ben was saying.

"Which is why, as my first royal decree, I've decided to invite five students from the isle of the lost to Auradon Prep this year."

The room fell silent, everyone trying to comprehend what Ben as just declared. "huh, the rumours were true," Ellie breathed out. 

        "Now I'm sure you have questions," Ben said. The crowd broke out in chatter, most of it protests. Off on the side of the stage Ben's girlfriend Audrey looked as if she were to faint at any moment, well next to her Ben's future royal advisor Weiss looked as if she was coinciding running off to avoid the backlash. 

Ben kept speaking, trying to get a hold of the crowd again, but he wasn't doing such a great job. Weiss walked over to the microphone, letting out a loud whistle into the mic, making it ring, thought out the auditorium, shouting everybody up. "Okay so," Weiss started, pulling out her dad's pocket watch. "Prince Ben will be taking questions for the next five minutes, starting now," Weiss hit the button on the pocket watch, starting a timer.

"Is this safe?" Someone yelled out.

"Everything is perfectly safe," Ben insisted, and the crowd broke out into murmurs again.

"have you chosen the five?" a girl yelled.

"When are they coming?" another person yelled.

"Yes, we have chosen the five kids and they will be arriving in a week's time," ben answered, sending up another bout of protests.

"Next week?," Sterling questioned no one, before standing up and posing his own question to the soon to be King. "Who are their parents?"

The room fell silent yet again, everyone now waiting for the answer. "Well," Ben said, getting nervous again. He looked over to Weiss, who was still next to him, watching the time tick down on her pocket watch. Weiss looked up at him and nodded. "Their parents are Jafar,". the crowd stayed silent, as they all seemed to turn towards Aladdin and Jasmine's sons, waiting for their reaction. The oldest of Aladdin's kids sat forward, looking rather angry. Well, his younger brother clearly tried to disappear into his chair.

"Cruella de Vil," Ben listed. Now everyone's attention turned to Anita and Roger's son, who didn't seem to fazed by the news as he was still processing it.

"The Queen of Hearts,". Ellie heard a small shriek as she turned to the group of Wonderland kids, the youngest of which the march hare's daughter having being the one to shriek, who was now hiding behind the son of the Mad Hatter. Alice's twins looked like they were having completely opposite reactions. Alison looked horrified and angry. Well Alistair looked almost happy.

"The Evil Queen,". Ellie felt everyone turn in her direction, not looking at her but the siblings beside her and the row of dwarf cousins behind her. Ellie to turned to her friends, well of whom seemed to be in some state of shock.

"And Maleficent," Ben listed the final villain kid. Every turned to the stage where Audrey had turned pale, having no idea that her boyfriend was inviting the daughter of the woman who tried to kill her parents off the isle. Audrey fainted, and the room busts into protests and shouting yet again, question after question firing Prince Ben's way.

"Time," Weiss announced, hitting the stop button on the watch, and pulling the Prince who was still trying to calm everyone down off the stage.

        Ellie burst out into laughter, much to her horror of her friends and the other students around her. "Things are finally going to get interesting around here," she said, no one willing to challenge her statement.
