'Finally.. Now I can go to sleep.'
The pink haired male sighed to himself as he climbed the stairs of his apartment building, pulling out his key. Dragging his feet down the hallway, the male thought of anything else he needed to do for the rest of the day. Not that he had any energy to really do anything.
Walking up to his door and about to unlock the door, the male saw a paper taped to the door.
"Hm..? What's this.." Pushing up his glasses and walking into the apartment, the male read the official looking paper.
'Dear Song Mingi,
We regret to inform you that your apartment contract has been revoked. Due to missing or late payments for the past few months in a row, we have seen fit to have you evicted from this residence.
We are giving you a week to pack everything and move out. Leave your key on the counter and the door unlocked when you leave.
Thank you.'The light red haired male blinked, not looking up from the paper. "I-i'm being evicted..? Where am I gonna live? I-i can't go back to my parents house.. Th-that's too far away.. They'd be so disappointed.. I-i.. wh-where am I g-gonna go..?"
The world started fading away, Mingi's heart rate and breathing started picking up at a fast rate. His cheeks filled with hot tears, some falling onto his dry lips and causing a salty taste to fill his mouth.
Beep beep beep
Mingi looked down at his wrist. Through the tears that hadn't yet left his eyes, he could barely see a bright red blob that sat, blinking. A warning. Blinking, the male sat down at the counter of his apartment, and tried to ground himself with the feeling of the chair.
Focusing on the beeping of the watch, Mingi took shaky breaths, trying to calm down as best he could. Soon he could feel the buzzing of the watch on his wrist as well.
Once the watch had deemed his heart rate low enough, it stopped beeping, and went back to its normal background. The male sighed, rubbing his eyes tiredly.
'Great.. now I have to look for a new place within a week.. fan-fucking-tastic..'
---
'7 grown men, looking for 1 roommate. Needs to be an adult, and be able to deal with crazy shit happening almost 25/8. That's it. Contact this number if you want to apply: xxx-xxx-xxxx.'
Mingi gaped at the post. He wasn't much of a religious person, but it had seemed that someone, or something, had heard his desperate pleas from the night before.
The post was short and sweet, to the point. The pink haired male pulled out his phone and immediately typed in the number, not caring if it ended up being a scam. 'What could anyone steal from me anyway? '
Taking a deep breath, Mingi hit the call button, listening intently as the phone rang once, twice, before someone picked up.
"Hello?"
---
"Isn't it the greatest, Hwa??"
The bubblegum pink haired male sighed, shaking his head. "No. This is the worst roommate ad I've ever seen in my millennium of living."
The shorter male huffed. "Whyy? It's short and to the point."
"Exactly, no human is gonna believe it's not a scam. And even if they do, you scared them off with the 'deal with crazy' bit," the eldest explained, nomming on a piece of candied lemons.
The raven male rolled his eyes. "You have no faith in me, Hwa. Just wait, someone will call."
As if on cue, the phone rang, and Seonghwa huffed and rolled his eyes, walking away, ignoring the other males' smirk. "Whatever, you deal with it, then."
