it's a typical day in summer
hazel marlowe was awakened by her alarm for school she stood up and checked the time and got ready she was feeling a little nervous she wonders what this day could bring her into a new adventure she got her skateboard "Bye Mom! I'm going to school" she shouted and went outside not long after skateboarding she arrived at school.
Hazel P.O.V
"where are they? I swear they said to meet up here.." I looked around with my phone out "BOO!" I screamed and hit carl jones behind me "OH my god I'm so sorry Carl! but don't sneak up behind me like that!" I sighed and looked around "Hey Carl.. where's the others?" Carl looked confused at me "What do you mean? I thought they were with you?" My eyes widened but regain my composure "It's fine.. let's just look for them you know how they are... they'll probably be at the cafeteria!" I stutter halfway mid-sentence I was clearly nervous 'Where are they?' me and carl went to the cafeteria and spotted Savannah, Sebastian, and Maya
"Oh, my god!! there you guys are!" I said lifting my arms up "Why weren't you at the front!" Maya then quickly looked at me "Savannah was hungry and was impatient because you were running late" I looked over at Savannah who was still eating their chicken bone not listening to any word we said and then looked at Maya again "And you went with her?! you even didn't bother waiting for Carl" I scoffed "And please I wasn't even that late..." I mumbled after a minute of quietness Carl spoke up "Hey Sebastian what's today's plan?" he nudge his shoulder "Oh! I know! We're gonn-" as Maya was gonna speak "I'm asking Sebastian, not you!" he scoffed at her and Maya did an angry pout "Whatever..." this was interesting to see but then Sebastian spoke up "I was doing some different ghost sightings but I haven't found a place ever since that haunted orphanage" he said and I spoke up "Hey I know how about we go to the haunted mansion everyone has been talking about?" the group looked at me then each other "are you asking for a death wish?" Sebastian said worriedly "NO! I- erm.." I continued stuttering
Carl then put his hand on my shoulder "Hey it's alright I'm all up for it! You never know plus What room does a ghost not need in a house? A living room!" as he burst out laughing slapping his knee never really seen that nowadays but the others didn't laugh but maya sighed "fine but if we're ever separating I'm leaving this damn ghost hunter group!" she crosses her arms I could tell she was really nervous about this...
**Hours passed...**
Sebastian was organizing his plans and how they'll get there meanwhile Maya was researching the place, details, and data Savannah was doing nothing but sleeping as for Hazel she was sick of Savannah snorings that she had to go to the other room to not hear savannah and Carl was just doing some puns to annoy the others.
