The Team Leader, SSgt. William D. "Foxy" Gani, is awaken by his alarm, he starts his morning throwing on his PTs and Go-Fasters and grabbing a cup of coffee. This morning for him goes on like a normal morning, running a mile and half up down to the local gas station and back, this time grabbing a bottle of water seeing as he was out of bottled water. The weather was awfully warm for this time of year, still in the 60s in the beginning of December. Usually there would be about 3 inches on the ground. After he gets back to his home he checks his phone and sees an emergency briefing message on his group chat for his platoon (yes I know it's unlikely to have a group chat instead of getting a call but it's 2027 so maybe these guys are all decently connected and enjoy having a group chat...).
EMERGENCY BRIEFING AT 05:30!!!

The group is order on base and into the briefing room. The situation explained, "US Surveillance drones have spotted the wreckage of Air Force One and the president still alive with a fire team of secret service agents escorting him back to friendly lines. Luckily the drone had been passing over the area as Air Force One hit the ground. Damn Ukrainian UAV pilots had some timing", the Battalion Commander explained. The team leaders were told their fire teams roles; unlucky for SSgt. Gani and his team, they were being told their team was being infilled behind enemy Russian lines and linking up with POTUS and his detail to get him back to Ukraine or whichever countries lines would be closer that were allies.

At this point you are probably wondering who our fireteam consists of? Well this wonderful team consists of 5 instead of 3 members. The first being Team Leader SSgt. Gani, a lonely man who right now only cares about his career and the brothers and sisters that surround him that he considers family. Then the Corpsman, a young woman, Ensign Tracey "Rum" Smith, the first woman to make it through MARSOC selection and training. Next, a fine young man from Texas who came from a long line of Airmen, LCpl. Reggie "Steed" Davis, who was an Army Combat Engineer turned Marine EOD. Followed up by a brother and sister, Sgt. John "Hare" Peters and Sgt. Irene "Granny" Peters, both of which went Security Forces and just so happen to serve together in the same Embassy for 2 years before being recruited into MARSOC. As a whole, they make up Fireteam Hector, callsign Hellhound 1-3, the most effective Fireteam in the Battalion.
