kenny's pov

me and niko went to go and get some drinks while sharky,chunkz,aj and filly stayed sat at a table. while we were waiting for our drinks, i layed my eyes on the most beautiful girl ever. she has brown thick hair which was slightly curled, tanned skin and even though she was across the room from me i could tell that she had big blue eyes. she was dancing with what looked like her friends, her short black dress sitting perfectly on her curves, her-

"kenny!" niko shouted in my face. "huh. what?" i replied. "mate you just completely zoned out what were you even looking at?" he looked over to where i was looking and laughed. "ohh that group of girls." he said, "ok, which one is it?" he smirked. "what? none of them!" i protested, i don't know why i didn't just tell him. "ok shut up. just tell me man!" he said. "ok fine." i said, "it's the one with the black dress and brown hair." "oh yeah she's cute." niko said. "i know that mate." i said. "well yeah. anyways you need to up your game and go talk to her, before somebody else does. she's probably one of the most good-looking people here." niko laughed. "i will later, she's busy at the moment." i said. "she might be taken laterrrr." niko mocked. "shut up niko! your not helping." we both laughed.

we grabbed our drinks and went back to the table. "whats with that face kenny?" chunkz said.

i didn't even realise i was making a face...

"it's probably because he's being too shy to go and talk to a gal that he saw." niko replied for me. "what?! no i'm not! i'm just letting her have time with her friends." i said. basically everyone rolled their eyes. "who is it?" chunkz asked. "that brunette in the black dress dancing over there." niko pointed. "brudda you can get a gal like that you know. i mean look at you." filly said. i smiled. filly always hypes everyone up he's so kind. everyone else said their encouraging things. then i said, "maybe later man." everyone just accepted it. i will later.

y/n's pov

after me and my friends had danced the night away, we went to go and get some drinks. when i was about to pay, i heard a gentle but deep voice next to me say "hey
uh" he fixed his voice with a deep cough, "i'll pay for her drink." i looked to my side and saw a buff guy. 'he's cute' we're my initial thoughts. he softly smiled at me as i smiled and said "thanks." "my names kenny by the way." he said. "i'm y/n." i replied. "i love that name." he smiled. "awww thanks." he's sweet, the sweet that you can't find too much of in the uk. his features were captured even though he was wearing a button up shirt. his eyes stuck onto mine.

am i blushing?

i looked round at my friends and one of them whispered in my ear "good luck!" as they walked away smiling. i gave them the look to come back but i knew that they were trying to get me and kenny to be alone together. "well um, my friends are off somewhere so do you maybe wanna hang out for a bit? it's fine if not!" why am i panicking?! "no i would love too!" he replied. my heart stopped racing.

am i falling for someone i just met?

kenny's pov

we talked. just about everything. about life. about ourselves. i just felt comfortable with her and i feel like she felt the same way. she would listen whenever i talked and i would do the same back. almost every time i lost track of what i was saying because i started focusing on her and how beautiful she is. i could tell that the boys kept looking at me and her and i think her friends were looking at us as well. we talked for around 20 minutes until she said...

"omg! this is my favourite song! let's dance!" she grabbed my hand and pulled me onto the dance floor. i just smiled and laughed. i can't dance. "what? can you not dance or something?" she looked at me. "no not really." i laughed. "what! no, everyone can dance. you just need the right partner." she smiled.

woah.

my heart just speed up by like 100 mph.

all of a sudden i just felt like i could do anything. i grabbed her hand and spun her around. "let's make it a challenge. who is the better dancer?" i said. she chuckled, "this is gonna be easy!" we both laughed.

we danced. well i tried. she was definitely way better than me. her smile was brightening up the room the whole time.

after the song finished, we were both out of breath. we went over to the bar seats again and sat down. "i think it's a draw." she said.

she was definitely just saying that to make me feel better.

"ok ok." we both laughed.

"do you wanna go on like a little walk round the club? it's getting too loud in this part." she said after a while of us talking. "yeah sure." i replied.

we started walking down these hallways in the club that just had like pictures in frames on the walls and a carpet flooring. she was holding her little purse infront of her with both hands. it was a cute stance. she got her phone out of her purse and looked at the time, "sh!t." she exclaimed. "what happened?" i asked. "i just didn't realise the time. i should probably get home otherwise i'm going to be knackered for work tomorrow." she laughed. "oh. um well do you maybe want my number. it's been fun hanging out with you." i smiled. "yes of course!" she said. we exchanged numbers and our hands accidentally touched. we just gently laughed it off. her hands were so soft though. like she puts hand lotion on 24/7.

"well um thank you for hanging out with me! your so nice!" she said while standing infront of me and looking up at me. i don't even know what came over me but i placed my hand on her cheek and pulled her in and kissed her.

she didn't pull away.

after we stopped, we looked at each other and smiled and laughed. "well i'll see you around!" she said with the biggest smile. "yeah bye!" i said and laughed.

as she walked away, i couldn't believe what just happened. i scratched my chin and just laughed to myself. i can't believe she actually liked me.

while walking back to my friends, my phone buzzed. i lifted it out of my pocket.

i opened the message.

'thanks for the drink😉'

i laughed at my phone and replied:

'no problem. see you soon!'

i could feel myself smiling at my phone. is she the one?

when i got to the table my friends just looked at me and nodded. i think they knew that it went well.

"fair play mate." filly said. "thanks man" i said while laughing.

all afternoon all i could think about was her. her eyes. her smile. her laugh. everything about her. i hope i see her again soon.
