"Mei Mei..." Utahime let out a tired sigh "how long is this corridor?"

The two were sent on a mission to a mansion invaded by a Cursed Spirit, but both had been trapped by the curse...

The partner looked at the watch on her wrist "In about thirty minutes we travelled fifteen kilometers"

then added, turning to her, with her confident gaze on "this means that the Cursed Spirit continues to add 'corridor patches' as we move forward"

"So we have to separate and break the curse?"

Mei Mei nodded "..or we call reinforcements"

Outside the mansion

"so? is this the mansion?" Satoru threw an annoyed look at Suguru who nodded confirming the position

"ok everyone, let's get to work" Suguru exclaimed, clapping his hands to get the attention of the two sorcerers, who were too busy throwing defiant glances at each other to listen to him

"watch and learn y/n" he took a few steps forward pointing two fingers towards the roof of the building "you're about to see the strongest at work" instantly the roof exploded, under the power of his cursed energy, reducing the mansion in a pile of rubble

she slightly clapped "what a show... well done"

keeping up the joke, he bowed thetrically at the applause "too kind y/n"

that little game of them was soon interrupted by the figure of a girl, who got up with difficulty from the rubble of the villa

"I came to save you...Utahimeee" Satoru yelled at the girl "What it is? Are you crying?" he mocked the girl

"Shut your ass up, Satoru"

"and me.." a mellifluous voice appeared
"If I cried, would you console me?" a beautiful woman, with the same hair color as Satoru, was standing in front of everyone

"But you would never cry Mei, you're strong" he stated

The woman, Mei, didn't have a scratch from the explosion, unlike her partner, who kept yelling at Satoru. She made her way to y/n and gently took her chin to her face
