y/n tossed and turned in bed all night, hangover and insomnia preventing her from getting any sleep. She only fell asleep in the early hours of the morning, when the sun was rising and the room was lighting up with warm rays.

One of those was able to filter through the curtains, hitting her closed eyelid.

she squeezed, rubbed and slowly opened them
muttering under her breath. she wasn't able to sit up yet, zoning out on the ceiling.

Collecting the memories of last night was quite difficult, they were all blurry and disconnected plus, thinking too much was causing her an headache

"what a nausea...god I look pregnant"

a light tap on her door brought her roughly in the reality "y/n, I'm Shoko" the girl's voice came blurred for the door's room

she stood up with difficulty, the head thumping and the stomach boiling, a frowning expression greeted Shoko

"Shoko, what are you doing here? and why do you look so full of life?" some memories of yesterday were somewhere in her mind and among them, there was definitely a drunk Shoko sleeping on her lap

"my cursed technique, internal healing, allows me to cure every disease i know and i'm capable of curing" the girl entered the room and sat on the bed "lay here y/n, this will only take ten minutes"

and as Shoko had said, the whole thing only lasted only ten minutes, after that y/n felt regenerated, any tiredness or pain had totally disappeared as if nothing had happened yesterday, well more or less...

That 'electric shock', that vivid moment kept bouncing in her head all night long.

All of her security and confidence was based on her strength, knowledge of cursed energy and its use; being isolated most of her childhood and teens made 'boys' topic a tabula rasa

Plus, she was too full of herself, so she just pretended like nothing happened

"thanks Shoko" she said getting up from the bed, noticing the girl wearing normal clothes and not the usual uniform

"aren't you in class with us today?"

"it's me and Suguru day's off"

"ah" she let out instantly, but theatrically added "but without you, my dear Shoko" she took her hands between hers "how can i brighten these day?"

"there are 27 degrees outside, i'm sure it's bright enough outside" Shoko smiled squeezing her hands
"the more time passes, the more I notice how similar you and Satoru are in character"

"shut up, my personality is unique and clearly better"

the girl eyed her with a 'sure right' look

she snorted "whatever" crossing her arms

"yes, just a 2.0 Satoru"

later, in class...

"so we have a mission?" Satoru asked fidgeting with his thumbs

"are you deaf?" she called him, throwing a crumpled paper on his, unfortunately active, Infinity

"better luck next try y/n"
