                                Chapter one

It all started the summer of my 15th birthday. I was in my room with my best friend Lynn when we heard my dad shout Cora. I made my way to the living room where my mom and dad were sitting with my grandma talking. Dad said
Cora you girls go get ready we're going to a friends bbq/party. We were informed to hurry along and make sure we brought our swim suits for the pool while him and mom packed the trunk with tents and sleeping bags. We all loaded up in the car and started the 2 hour drive. When we arrived there were people everywhere but dad pulled us along with him to a couple cooking on the grill. He introduced us to the man and woman as Deb and Dan and asked them where their son Anthony was. Dan laughed and said something about he'll be along soon with his buddy. Deb and my mom asked if we wanted to go swimming and pointed us in the direction of the bathroom to get changed and left us alone. We stepped into the pool and climbed on a big rainbow float. We heard some laughing and yelling and that's when I saw him. He was just wearing black swim trunks that clung to his body and a army green under armour tshirt. My dad and Dan called for me and Lynn and introduced us to this amazing looking boy. I stuck my hand out and when he grabbed it I let out a gasp. Tingle shocks whatever you want to call them shot up my arm and had me pulling my hand back abruptly staring at my hand. When I looked up he had a sweet smile on his face and asked Lynn and I wanted a drink. We declined and went back to the pool when I hear Lynn say he still staring at you and ramble on about how cute he is and how she thought he liked me. I laughed and said yeah right as if he's like a 30 year old man and we're only 15. At that we heard a slash and a deep voice chuckling while saying I'm definitely no old man I'm 19. My eye grew big with embarrassment as my cheeks flared a rosy color and Lynn busted out laughing making me scowl at her. I was then thankful for my father who happened to be yelling for me and Lynn to come put our tents up. After we got our tents up we were laying out on a blanket when a water balloon hit me square in the head and heard a oh shit my bad and laughing. I looked up and saw him with a smirk on his handsome face as another balloon left his hand and exploded on my ass.
I jumped up and yanked a sleeping Lynn up yelling at her to come on as another balloon hit her in the face and exploded. We took off running to my parents and heard laughing an arm wrapped around my waist. I gasp trying to pull away when I was yanked up and then thrown into the pool. When I surfaced there Anthony was smirking at me saying that's what you get for saying I looked 30. That's when I knew he was gonna give me problems and problems is what he gave.
