"Happy Birthday." Lim spoke as he pulled me into a hug. "Whatchu crying for? You a crybaby, soft ass nigga. Toughin' up."
I laughed, hitting him in the arm. "Shush, I have a reason to cry. It's our birthday, and I can't even celebrate it with you. It sucks, it really do. I miss you a lot."
"I miss you too and you doing good sis. I'm glad you finally listening to what I been telling you. Glad you cut allem muhfucka's off and changing yo' life around. I'm dead ass, you doing good and I see a brighter future for you. Just keep doing what you doing."
"I'm glad I decided to listen too. At first everything was so hard for me, but eventually everything got so much easier. It's just been me, I been alone which is good 'cause it's been allowing me to focus on myself and heal with no interruptions. I was able to find out where I went wrong and fix it. I'm so proud of myself."
"Hell yeah, and don't spend all day crying and shit. Go have fun or some shit."

"When you coming over?" Karson asked.
"In a second." I told him waiting for my cake to finish getting made.
It was a little later in the day. I was suppose to be at work, but who wants to work on their birthday? So I called out. I decided to go to the mall and go shopping for myself. Definitely gotten myself tons of clothes and shoes.
"Oh, alright. Val keep asking for you and shit that's why I keep calling. She like 'I can't wait to see my tt', and shit. Talm 'bout she got a new game for y'all to play on Roblox."
"Her and this Roblox." I laughed a lil. "Do y'all want anything from Walmart before I leave?"
"You could get Val some Gummy Bears. She love them nasty ass things."
"Boy, bye. Gummy Bears are good as fuck." I hung up on him and after I got the cake, I went to the candy aisle to get her a big ass bag of Gummy Bears and some other candies I knew she liked.
I wish Walmart still had the section with all the fishes and stuff. I wouldn't mind getting Valentine a lil fish even though she already had a Guinea Pig. But one thing about Valentine, she loved animals, insects, whatever. Sis was obsessed.
