It's been 10 years since the formation of the Empire, and 3 years since the bridge. I think my birthday must've been last week. I'm now 18.
We arrive to Jedha, a world of unrest. Both the 939th Legion and the 963rd Legion were stationed here, on different areas of the planet. We have the desolate Southern Hemisphere, while the 963rd took the North and Jedha City.
When we had walked out of our individual barracks after getting the assignment, there was a change. Havoc now had red markings along his armor. He was promoted to a shock trooper. Crazy guy was noticed for his love for heavy guns. We step out of the transport and onto the sandy rock, and his armor looked NICE.

We still have many large cities to patrol though. Ambushes are a very dangerous threat. We have been assigned a Corporal who wears a black pauldron. Corporal Dawn.
CPL Dawn: "Welcome shinys. Your armor is new. Prepare for it to not stay that way." His smirk is obvious through the helmet. "We have patrol duty for the next month, and our first one is in thirty minutes. Grab your weapons and prepare."
We are always accompanied by some armor, which is nice. If we ever are ambushed, we'll instantly have support.

Knuckles: "This is not the type of action the Academy promised. Just patrols on a rock."
78149: "Just stay alert, we could be attacked at any moment."
I have to say, these patrols began to eat at me. The lull and monotony is terrible. We've been doing the same thing for the last three weeks, and we all have the route down so that we could do it in our sleep.
From an alley, I see an object flung at us from the corner of my eye. Before I could warn the squad, a fireball erupted behind me. Our tank has been hit by an anti-armor grenade, and I'm sure both pilots are dead. Fire began to rain down from the rooftops as we call for backup after taking cover.
Hammer: "Ambush! Ambush! Two drivers down, along with the armor. Base we need armor and backup!"
Base: "Loud and clear. Troopers bengals sent to your location. Hold out until then."
