Chapter 4 Chan's POV

        " Guys, house meeting in an hour at my apartment." Now this should be interesting. The group has been split about having a personal chef and having someone in the apartments. I texted in the group chat because talking to everyone separately sounds draining. So I walk into my room to put something more comfortable on and lie staring at the wall. I'm still a little lost on my JYP wanting to do this. II know Inchance and JYP were close from their trainee days and stayed that way, but something isn't adding up. I didn't realize Inchance had a family, I've known him since I first came to the company, and he said nothing about it. So I'll have to keep the walls up until I figure everything out. Slam! Well, I guess everyone here an hour went pretty fast. 

       I get out to the living room, and everyone is there. Han, Lee Know, I.N and Seungmin on the couch. Hyunjin is in the massage chair, and finally, Changbin and Felix are sitting on the floor. " Okay, how is everyone?" Good." Everyone said together. Lee Know was the first to talk, "What's with the surprise meeting?" " I'm glad you asked, well you know I was at the company today wor--" "You are always at the company, you should go touch some grass or smell some flowers lol," Seungmin said. "thank you for the advice but if I go do that who is going to take care of you guys, huh?" everyone stayed quite. "Okay, like I was saying, I was at the studio, and I got a visit from Inchance, and our chef is here, and it turns out to be Inchance's niece." crickets, everyone was just looking at each other, and not saying anything. " I know you guys don't like the idea of someone coming into our apartments and making everything we eat." " Why does it have to be a girl of all people," Hyunjin said, " Yeah, I bet she is just a crazy fan, and the next thing I know, my cologne will be on the internet for sale, haha." Han followed. " Well, the crazy thing is she doesn't know anything about us. She is from the States and has never listened to K-pop, we talked for an hour, and I believed everything she said. But I think once she becomes comfortable with us, we can teach her; She is 22, so Han, Felix, and Seungmin are the age. I had her sign a contract I created for us, and I will not bring her into the apartments until I try her food and talk and get to know her more. It's only fair to you, and you come first." They all nodded, I could see they were still uneasy about it, but I thought things would smooth over once they met her. " One more thing before everyone leaves I need everyone to come up with a list of foods you like and don't like and give it to me by Thursday."  "Okay, sounds good!" everyone said. "When do you think we would be able to meet her?" Felix said, " Well, we are busy this weekend with shows, so I think Monday would be a good day to meet her, and she will provide breakfast." " Well, I can't wait; II finally have someone to bake with!" Felix said with a smile, "Hey, we bake with you!" Seungmin said, "Yeah, but she knows what she is doing, and I don't have to teach; loll, if anything, she will teach me." Felix teased back. Haha, It's nice to see everyone finally opening up. " hey if she doesn't know anything about K-pop why did she take this job? Oh, and is she cute???" Changbin asked. Felix smacked his arm, "what, I have to ask," he said, all innocent. "Well,l I am trying to figure that out,t so I will let you guys know as soon as I know, and I don't know.w I didn't look that close(lie)" he nodded " He,y who wants to play Mario Cart!" Felix asked. Everyone said yes, and they all made their way to the door. " I'll pass. I'll see you guys tomorrow," I said, and they were out the door. "Nice talk, everyone, Love you!" how is everyone so busy?

         I went to the fridge to get water and returned to my room to work on music. When I reached my desk, I could not help but think of Changbins' question. She is a couple of cm below me, with long sun-kissed brown hai, eye-catching hazel eyes, and freckles resembling the sta--. What am I saying? She is just a person that works for the company, that's all. I should text her so he has my number.

     "He,y I know it's late, but I thought you should have my number. Oh, and I will come over to try your food on Thursday morning." ~ Chris

   "Hey, sounds good. Do you have any favorites I should know about?" ~ Hope

   "Nothing too spic. The last time I had spicy noodles, it wasn't good. Other than that,t I'll eat anything. Surprise me!" ~ Chris

She texted back right away.

   "your words. Not mine ;)"  ~ Hope

   "Aww, no fu,n lol, but copy that, nothing too spicy. But, you did spike my interest about what happened when you had spicy food :) " ~ Hope.

 Haha, what's with the old smiley face? Is she 30?  

   "Stay knows, that's all I'm saying, lol, but I will see you Thursday." ~ Chris 

  I'm not tired, so I'll do some work and then go to bed.

        Why me... I lift my head from my desk and stretch. I need to stop falling asleep at my desk, or I will have many more problems than I already have. I reached for my phone to see Changbin texting me...

   "Hey, gym, 10 am." 9:30 am

  "Remember, you want to be like me. Well, you need to go to the gym." 9:45 am

  "Don't make me bust open your door. You have 10 minutes" 9:50 am

  "NO! Don't I'm naked" 9:58 am

  "Nothing I haven't seen before, don't be shy now, lol you have 2 minutes before I come in" 9:58 am.

      A shee, I'm not naked, but if he saw I fell asleep at my desk again, I would get a talking to. So I get up, find some gym clothes, and go to the front door. "Finally, I thought I would see some butt cheeks, haha," Changbin said. "you are so funny; let's go," I said while pushing him out the door. On the way down, Changbin explained that we are doing legs today, and I thanked god because my back was a little stiff. When we got there, we made our way to the weights, and I started to do some weighted squats. Once I finish my sets, Changbin taps me on the shoulder, "Hey, she's new. I haven't seen her before; she's beautiful." I turned around to see what he was saying: " Where are you looking?" "Over the treadmills, she is short, wearing leggings, an ACDC shirt, and long hair." I look at that section, and to my surprise, it's Hop; II didn't know she goes to the gym. She is wearing a pair of black leggings and a hand-cropped ACDC shirt but not too cropped enough to not show anything but lose to have airflow. You can see she is doing a light workout, but still sufficient to make her cheeks red. Most people wouldn't look good like that, but she pulls it off. " Ah well, I guess you will be the first to meet her; that's Inchance's niece." His eyes widened, and I started going over to her, and Changbin followed. 

     "hey, Hope." I tapped her on the shoulder, and she jumped a bit. "Hi, Chris. I didn't know you would be here." "How else do I maintain this figure? Haha, I could say the same thing to you." "Ah well, new place, so I didn't sleep well, so I thought a light workout would tire me out so I can sleep a little bit," she said, and you can see it in her eye; they weren't as bright as yesterday. " That's not good. If you eve--" "Ehm," Changbin bumps into me. That's right. He's here. "Hope I would like to introduce one of the members, Changbin. He is the lead rapper and one of the other producers in the group." she gets down from the treadmill.

"Hi, it's nice to meet you. I am Hope, your chef," she said, sticking out her hand. " Wow, that's great. I look forward to trying your cooking and seeing you around!" Changbin said taking her hand. His ears started to turn red, and I couldn't help but chuckle. " Of course, I hope you guys will like it. Well, I am going to my apartment. it was nice to meet you, and I'll see you tomorrow Chris." " Of course, ill see you tomorrow. Sleep well." When she walked away, Changbin turned to me. "I'm now going to eat every meal at home," he said with a smile. "Hey, remember she worked for the company, and I thought you didn't like the idea of having someone in our apartment," I said with a chuckle. He ignored me and started to walk back to the weights. Hmm, this is going to be interesting to see how this turns out.
