revenge of the royal elves

Chapter 1

It was a warm autumn day, Angela was at school with her best friend Rosa. Angela began pointing out how she thought they were the only ones who noticed part of the students looked a bit different from them. To them, only humans existed , but to the elves it was them and the humans, but they were made to promise not to tell the humans. It was a secret that could cause war between the two creatures, which could not happen, as the peace the elves worked so hard for would be ruined. Years and years of peace couldn’t ever be broken by someone getting careless around the humans, so they would be trained like soldiers to hide the secret, regardless of what happens to them.

Through years of training from dusk to dawn, the elves had it beaten into them to not tell a soul. If they can't complete the training, they would be executed  and covered up as an accident. This was the only way the elves knew that peace would be kept and they were secretly hidden from the world. After training, the elves would be sent into society to play as humans. Going to school and grocery shopping were all things elves knew as normal due to their ability to adapt to human life.

The prince was among the students, but no one knew. He would Stand watching Angela from afar, he always wondered who she was, was she kind, caring or respectful. Almost all elves he’s met were rude to him, up until finding out the truth that’s why he hid it. He didn’t want kindness for being the prince, he wanted people to be kind to him because he was kind too. He was staring at Angela when his friend John called out for him, “YO Ryan, my man, what’s up?” He paused, “I’m good John” he said looking over at his best friend of 3 years. Likewise, he smirked and playfully replied, “staring at her again, huh?” the prince blushed, realizing She could have easily  seen as well.

The prince started to walk out the school building, ashamed, while his best friends trailed less than a step behind him. “Oh my gosh what if she saw me staring at her '' the prince replied bright red with what he thought was shame. Without even realizing it, John replied, “ it really can’t be that bad Ryan if she asks tell her a lie”. Ryan quickly turned to face John and yelled “DUDE, what if she thinks my a stalker.” The price started to freak when he saw Angela just out of earshot. He grabbed John's hand, threw him into the car and got into the driver's seat, ” what the hell man?” John said rudely as the prince got into the car “shut up she was right there“ the prince replied, speeding out of the parking lot towards the castle.

John was quiet now; he then quietly said“ I apologize for being rude man, you just hit my head off your car“ the prince stopped the car at a red light. He then turned to John and said“ it’s no worry man I did throw you in here” they both laughed“ I won’t tell anyone what happened“ John turned serious to make sure Ryan knew he wasn’t lying about it. The prince simply nodded, then continued driving home silently. Once they reached the castle, Ryan and John went to Ryan’s room, and they started playing video games.

Meanwhile, Angela was studying at home with her best friend Rosa talking about guys, and she brought up Ryan “what’s your opinion about Ryan” she knew every girl in school loved Ryan because he was hot and rich. Most of the girls assumed he would just hand out money to them if he was dating them, but he never accepted, though kept saying ‘you're not the right one ‘ or ‘I dont think I’m ready for a relationship’.

“Oh he’s so dreamy, with that hot body of his” Rosa started going on and on about him. When Angela realized she never really even talked to Ryan “oh my it’s getting late” Rosa said getting up and packing her bags. “I’ll see you tomorrow” Angela waved her goodbye while shutting the door. I’ll talk to Ryan tomorrow, Angela thought while walking up the stairs to go to bed.

It was 7 in the morning when Angela was woken by Rosa. “Get up, Angela” she said, still shaking the sleepy girl in bed. ”It's Saturday. Why are you up so early? “ Angela said, yawning as she sat up. ”Let's go to the mall today. Ryan and John agreed to come”  Rosa said, happily pulling her out of bed. Angela got up and went to the bathroom “stay here while I shower and get ready “ she said, closing the door. Rosa went to the kitchen where the two boys were waiting, “Not going to let her know where here.” John said to Rosa “she would have freaked out if she knew you guys were already here” she said. She grabbed a bowl and the ice cream out of the freezer, she put some in the bowl and sat down to eat.

  20 minutes later Angela came down in a gray sweat suit matching Rosa’s sweat suit, which was also gray and the girls burst out laughing. “ I knew we would match one day” Angela said, grabbing a spoon and taking some of the ice cream in the bowl before realizing the boys were already here “ ROSA WHAT THE HELL!” Angela screamed. Rosa mouthed ‘told you” the boys then turned to Angela “ I said they agreed to come already I couldn’t just leave them outside they were at johns place two streets away so I swung by and brought them here to leave for the mall right away.

  After spending 8 hours at the mall going to 26 different stores with two food trips, everyone returned to Angela’s house.  They discussed spending the night at the mall earlier. She pulled out the couch into bed, then two small air mattresses and a pump. “Use these to sleep tonight, I’ll be up in my room if you need me” then she left to go to bed for the night, the boys and Rosa turned on a movie.

Rosa got up at about 11 p.m to go to the bathroom and the boys took advantage of that time to talk about the girls. “ God, she looks so pretty” John said to Ryan Rosa got far enough away to not to hear them talk. “So you like her huh? She seems like a nice girl too. Just remember you can never tell her what we are" Ryan said as John wrote Rosa's name in his book. He nodded just then she came walking back down the stairs in a velvet night dress ready to rejoin them for the rest of the night.

The three were quiet the rest of the movie and even decided to watch a second one. Rosa had fallen asleep halfway through the second movie, so the boys started talking amongst themself again about schooling and the girls. This went on for about an hour until the boys went to bed themselves.
