Chapter 7:// Trouble

Okay. What just happened?
"Dylan!" I shout after him, "get back in here and explain!"
He stops instantly and turns on his heel. We're so close are noses are touching, breath mingling. My cheeks turn red. Angry Andi. Not flirty cuteness. "Why should I explain to you? You already know, Andi. Now you want me to say it out loud so you can embarrass me. Well too bad." Dylan glares and turns back around. That hurt. He doesn't know me well, but he should know I would never hurt someone for my own amusement.
"Dylan Blake open this motherfucking door right now." My voice is low, but furious.
"No." he sounds challenging.
"Open the goddamned door or so help me I will kick the door in."
"No, you won't. You can't. You're too weak to kick down this sturdy of a--"
I let all the anger I'm suddenly feeling-- always being considered weak because I'm a girl-- center towards my leg and I kicked the door in as hard as I could. I heard the satisfying crack and slam of the door opening as I pulled my foot back.
Dylan looks wide-eyed. There's something else there, too. Awe?
"An?" I hear my mom's worried voice call.
"Yeah?" I walk to end of the hall and see her waiting at the top of the staircase.
"Why did you kick my door in? And why did Haylee leave looking sick?" She says in her mom tone.
"Nothing, mom." I say quietly. "Dylan was up here getting air, and he said something. So I broke in the bathroom door and yelled at him.
"Okay. As long as you're being honest." She looks me in the eye.
I put up a wall. The wall built after the divorce. The wall that's up around my dad. "Mom, I wouldn't lie to you." I smile.
She goes back downstairs and I feel like shit for lying.
Sorry, mom.

A/N
so i'm fixing my story, a lot. i wrote this last summer and i didn't like it so i gave up... but anyways i'm fixing it now and i'm going to continue the story :)
