The Afton family (alive AU) ft.???

The year 1983....

The Afton's cry silently as the sound of beeping rings in their ears. The youngest son in the family has been put on life support due to a serious situation. The oldest son Michael who has no one to blame but himself sat in silence and regret. He wished he hasn't done such a thing. It was all fun and games until he saw the blood leak from his brother's head. "I'm sorry Evan." He mumbled as he held his brother's hand. Hoping. Just hoping that he heard him. He left the room with the rest of his family.

Months pass before the child finally woke up to the sight of four people staring with wide eyes. His family. His mother, his father, his older brother, and his younger sister. They were all there. All of them. He slowly sat up. Michael stood up with a smile a genuine wide smile ran to his brother and held him. The young boy with wide eyes was shocked. He even laughed a little. He had waited for this moment. Why? Well it's because he always felt like Michael never cared about him. Since he always picked on him twenty four seven. He was confused, shocked, and happy all mixed together. "Michael." "Yeah?" "Why are you hugging me?" "Because I missed you. We all did."

"I always thought you never cared." Silence filled the room. "I cared. I always did. It was just to hard for me to show it." "How? I don't understand." "I'm sorry. What I did to you. You must be mad at me." He said changing the topic. He didn't know how to answer the question or how to put it into words. "I'm not mad. However it might be something I'd never forget." Soon the young boy's mother sat on a chair next to him. She held her son's hand glad that he was finally back sure he's still recovering but he was alive and that's all that mattered for her. Then came his sister she gave him what she calls "the biggest hug ever" and then...his father. A smile may not be on his face but he was happy to see his son again as well. The family finally and happily left the hospital with their child Evan Afton. Alive and well and soon to be recovered.

(No joke I actually cried writing the ending of the first part.)
