" Yes, that's right. Solve it like that, and you'll get the answer. " Mi Ra pointed out to Hyun Ki. Her black hair sprawled aimlessly on the couch armrest, a thick and worn out history book being held by her pale hands.

" Woah, thank you. " Hyun Ki smiled sheepishly. " I'll definitely get a perfect score. " He dances in tiny as he cleans up his books and pen that scattered over the carpet in Mi Ra's living room.

Mi Ra peeked out from her book. " You always get a good score. "

" Eeehh, that's the thing. I still won't be able to defeat two smartest people in my class. Say Mi Ra, do me a favor —  don't skip grades to my class. " Hyun Ki then shoved all of his equipment inside his dark blue backpack. " Gosh I'm so hungry, do you have any snacks? " Walking to the kitchen, he started to open the refrigerator, to see if there was any food he could grab.

Mi Ra averted her eyes to the ceiling, the cream colored plafond and sparkling chandelier suddenly looked very interesting. " Huh, sure I will. " She said sarcastically. While she managed to do it once, that doesn't mean she can do it twice. For some reason, her middle school's headmaster decided that Mi Ra was more fitted in high school. So that's why she ended up in Saebom High just slightly earlier than her peers.

Not that Mi Ra was ungrateful or something. Her brother and friends are proud of her, and that was more than enough. It's just — the feelings of having to move out of her comfort zone is uncomfortable and makes her feel uneasy for some time.

Although her junior high school life wasn't that good anyway, the dirty looks and eyes full of doubt her former classmates gave her, still lingering like a river flow inside her mind.

Expectation — the more you achieve, the more they expect from you. There's no room for disappointment.

Or so what she thought.

Mi Ra blinked hard. Seriously, stop overthinking. She got up from her lying position and sat more comfortably on the couch. " Open the second cabinet, there's some Hot Cheetos and dried fruit. Get some of those too. "
