Chapter 2: The Unlikely Truth

Shea found herself trapped in the classroom, locked in by Tyler and his gang. Overwhelmed with fear, tears streamed down her face as she desperately pounded on the door, each thud echoing through the silent room. But there was no respite, no response, just a haunting emptiness that intensified her anguish.

~FLASHBACK~

Tyler: Furious Are you kidding me, Shea? Who do you think you are?

Shea: Defiant I'm done being your punching bag, Tyler. You and Anika can't keep treating people like this without consequences.

Tyler, fueled by rage, turned to his friends, instructing them to take action against Shea.

Tyler: Demanding Lock the door, guys. Shea needs to learn her lesson.

~NOW~

Shea, tears streaming down her face, berated herself, feeling the weight of her actions.

Shea:  I can't believe I let my anger get the best of me. Now I'm facing the consequences of my impulsive actions.

As Shea lamented her situation, she suddenly heard the sound of the door unlocking. Her eyes widened with surprise as a tall figure emerged from the shadows. It was Tyler, his face slowly becoming visible.

Tyler: Smirking Well, well, well, Shea. Looks like you're finally realizing the severity of your actions. This is quite the punishment you've brought upon yourself.

Shea : Seriously now let me go home 

Tyler: Not so easy you will go with me

Shea: no never

Tyler: Wait you don't hear clearly or should i-

Shea : yeah whatver

As Tyler demanded that Shea sit on his bike and give her a ride, a strange mix of emotions surged within her. Despite being a bully, Tyler had never resorted to physically hurting her. It was always his girlfriend who inflicted both physical and mental abuse upon Shea. In that moment, she couldn't help but feel conflicted. Was it possible that Tyler had a softer side, buried beneath his tough exterior?

While they were traveling, Shea received multiple messages from Zoe, informing her about the upcoming prom and their plan to go shopping for gorgeous prom dresses together. Shea's excitement grew as she read the messages, realizing that this could be a chance to create new memories and embrace a moment of happiness amidst the turmoil she faced.

Wanting to keep her plans with Zoe a secret from Tyler, Shea mustered up the courage to make a request.

Shea: "Hey, Tyler, could you drop me off near the old café instead? I have something I need to take care of there."

Tyler, caught off guard by Shea's sudden request, raised an eyebrow but agreed nonetheless.

Tyler: Sure do whatever you want to do.......

Shea walked into the shopping mall and spotted Zoe waiting for her. A big smile spread across Shea's face as she approached her friend and pulled her into a tight hug.

Shea: "Hey, Zoe! So good to see you! Let's make this prom dress shopping spree unforgettable!"

Zoe: "Absolutely, Shea! We're gonna rock those dresses and own the prom night!"

As they explored the racks of stunning dresses, trying on various styles and colors, their excitement continued to grow. Finally, they found the perfect prom dresses that made them feel like absolute queens.

Shea: "Oh my gosh, Zoe! Look at us! We're gonna turn heads at prom!"

Zoe: "No doubt, Shea! We're gonna be the talk of the night!"

Shea and Zoe decided to take a break and grab some snacks. But as they sat down, enjoying their treats, they spotted Tyler and Anika across the food court.

Shea: "Ugh, look who's here. Tyler and Anika."

Zoe: "Yeah, I see them. But  Shea, we're not gonna let them ruin our fun. Let's just enjoy our time together."

Shea nodded, determined not to let their presence dampen her spirits.

Shea: "You're right, Zoe. We're here to have a blast, and nothing can bring us down. Let's savor this moment and forget about the drama."

With that, they dug into their snacks, giggling and chatting away, deliberately ignoring Tyler and Anika's presence. Shea shrugged off any negative vibes, deciding to soak up the good vibes with her bestie instead.
