Sometimes, in life, the older we get the less our expectations on things that we really have no control with. The older we get the less we become disappointed of not having the things or recognitions we thought we want. The older we get the more we value the lesson of failure. The older we get the wiser we are. And, lastly, the older we get the least we expect too much.
