"Theo, is that you?" I spot the boy dangling his feet off the railing. "Theo?"

"Lina," He croaks. "Why are you here?"

"You did ask," I sit myself next to him, he was still facing the sky, the moonlight hitting his face highlighting the tear stained across it. "If you want me to stay silent I will, and if you want to talk to me I'm here."

"I'm sorry," He lets out a sniffle before continuing. "This is pathetic."

"Well, I don't know what's the matter Theo but," I grab the bottle of unidentifiable alcohol out of his grasp to hold his hands. "Someone very wise once told me: it is not pathetic to feel an emotion, but pathetic to hold it in when you're feeling it."

"I'm sorry-" He states before letting out an audible cry, that's when the tears start, they flow down his face in a constant stream. My arms wrap around him, allowing him to cry into my chest.

"It's okay, Theo, breathe," I try and comfort him.

"It wasn't-" His breathing slows before building pace again, "It wasn't my fault, I know it wasn't"

"Theo," My voice now clearly concerned. "Did something happen?"

Instead his cries grow stronger. "Okay, I'm sorry, I won't ask."

"No, it's okay," He inhales, the tears begin to stop. "I got your dress wet, I'm sorry,"

"It's not your fault Theo, how much have you drank?" I look beside him to fortunately only see two bottles plus the one he had had in his hands.

"I'm not sure," He looks as well, more tears threatening the brims of his eyes. "I didn't mean to, I'm fine"

"Could this be why you were so upset, maybe?"

"No, no, I can handle my alcohol, it's because of her." He points to the moon reluctantly.

"Her? That's the-"

"Moon?" He gulps, "It's my mum."

"Oh," I understand now. It was a known fact that Theo's mother passed away many years ago, though much about the woman was unknown. I was helping Luna a couple years ago dust the old yearbooks in the Library when I came across her picture. Larissa Nott, formerly Selinofoto, was stunning, tan skin and peircing green eyes, I hadn't known before that he was half Greek but now, now I can see it. 

"I'm sorry," He looks at me with those similarly striking eyes.

"Talk about her if it makes you feel better," I re-grab his hand, smiling. "Tell me about the good parts."
