10 - goofy guy

"Cat," I look up from my cheesecake to see the messy haired blonde. "Can we talk?"

"Sure," I get up taking the last bite of my dessert. "Where to?"

"Dorms," He says flatly, and quite out of character.

"Mine. Not yours," I reply with the same tone. "I'm going, I'll be back late, I'm going out with Theo after." I then whisper to Laila.

"Okay," We continue to walk in silence up to the room when he starts. "What's your problem with me?"

"I don't have one Henry, you're making a big deal out of nothing." Slithers of moonlight were the only light source into the room, and his standoffish demeanour made the situation more ominous, so I quickly switched the light on.

"I just don't understand I thought we were something and you kiss, that-" He breathes heavily walking towards me and stroking the sides of my arm. "That snake."

I shrug off his touch moving to the otherside of the room. "It was a dare, and we kissed once, we aren't anything yet."

"Are you sure it was nothing? Because I have seen how he looks at you and it was a long kiss." He moves more towards me cornering me.

"Henry," My eyes widen, "What are you doing?"

"I like you, Cat, and I don't need that pretentious daddy's boy to get in the way." I feel his hand reach for my face, I go to push him but he resists.

"Henry"

"Baby, stop pushing me away you know you like me." He grabs my face to look at him, his eyes were severly dilated.

"Henry, did you take something?"

"Maybe," He shows no signs of letting go.

"Henry, you're scaring me."

"What are you going to do?" He laughs, "Exactly, nothing."

"What the fuck? Get off her, Henry," The door to the dorm opens to see Terry, his brother and he releases me. "Oh my Merlin,"

"Brother, you ruined all the fun," Henry pouts.

"Get to our dorm," He shouts. "Now."

"Thank you." I say to the boy left in my dorm.

"He's disgusting, you owe him nothing and he pulls this, stealing our opioids for himself and potentially harming you, oh Merling, your arm Cat," I look down to see red marks from where he held me.

"It's fine, can you not tell anyone about this," I say, "Just tell him to stay away from me."

No matter how much I would love to shame him from what he did and what he would have potentially have done, that's just going to cause me to have long conversations with Flitwick and the other Head of Houses, which has the high likelihood of my drug use being exposed which sadly is priority number one.

"Yeah, sure, just try and avoid him, and if you need weed, come to me, I don't do hard drugs for this exact reason," He leaves making me mentally curse myself for getting involved with the wrong Boot twin.

"How'd it go then?" Theo takes a drag out of my blunt before passing it back to me. "With Boot." At the mention of the name my skin crawls, after Terry had left I threw on a long sleeve and made my way to Theo and I's tree.

"Umm, it was alright, we talked a bit and he was getting jealous of me kissing you so we decided that whatever we had, which wasn't anything by the way, should end. He got mad and then he left." I fiddle with the claspe of my bracelet.
