-4 weeks later-
Olivia POV:
Unfortunately the boys lost their semi-final match tonight. Phil scored an amazing goal and he stuck to his word he aimed it at me and bump, he put the ball up his top like a bump and made a love heart with his hands. The boys loved his celebration with them all pretending to kiss the bump. Us girls loved it and it made me tearful at how thoughtful his celebration was. The tears didn't stop as we all cried when we saw how upset they all were when the whistle blew and they knew they were out the euros. We're watching an interview which Phil's doing after as he scored the goal.
Interview:
I-I want to start by saying thank you for doing this interview I can imagine you're quite emotional and hurting after the loss.
P- Yeah, it isn't a great feeling but it is what it is and ultimately they scored the extra goal.
I-On to the positives of the match, we all saw your amazing goal and quite a unique celebration between you and the team. Can you tell us more about that?
P-Yeah, I'm quite proud of that goal, my aim coming here was to score and I promised my girlfriend that if I scored a goal it would be for her and my son who's due in a couple of weeks.
I-Is she here to see the goal in person?
P-No she's not, she's not allowed to fly she's nearly 37weeks pregnant.
I-That would explain the ball in the top then.
P-Yeah, I promised if I scored then it would be for them, so the ball made the bump for my son and the love heart was to my girl. I didn't expect the boys to do what they did but they're all super excited to become uncles to my little one.
I-I presume you'll make it home in time for your little ones birth.
P- If everything goes to plan then yes I will, he's not due for 3 and half weeks so we're hoping he stays in until I'm back. Well to be honest the lads have all said they want to be back in the UK when he's born.
I-Well we're sorry about the result of this game and have to say as a team you've played amazingly throughout the tournament but we wish you all the best for your upcoming fatherhood. Congratulations.
P-Thank you.

After that interview I'm crying even more. About 30 minutes after the interview my phone rings and it's FaceTime from Loz which I know is Phil, the other girls phones ring as well.
FaceTime:
O-Hey baby, I'm so sorry about the result.
P-It's okay baby, it is what it is. How are you and bump?
O-We're good, he's still very happy inside and planning to stay there for a little while longer until daddy's home. We loved the goal and celebration. I presume you have to stay for the rest of the tournament?
P-Thank you baby, I told you I'd score for you both. And I'm not sure baby, we haven't spoken about it. That will probably be discussed tomorrow. I'm sorry I've not spoken to you much these last couple of weeks I've really missed you.
O- Babe, stop apologising to me. You've been working hard and training. We've got lots of time when you're home. I've missed you too but I'm so proud that you're there playing for your country.
P-Thank you baby. I love you so much and I'm so lucky to have you. Hang on someone's here to say hi.
Jack- Hey little sis!
O-Hey Jack, sorry about the result.
Jack- It's okay, why can I hear myself?
O-Your on the phone with Sash who's sitting in the same room as me....
Jack-That would make sense. Is that little baby still comfy in your belly?
O-Yes, he's not making an appearance anytime soon. You'll all be back by the time he's born.
Jack- That's good. I'll come and see you when I'm back.
O-Make sure you spend some quality time with your amazing girl first. That goes for John as well.
Jack-I will do, I'm not going to face the wrath of a pregnant lady. Bye Liv. Love and miss ya.
O-Love and miss you too Jack.
P-I should get going baby, we've still got to get back to camp yet and I've got to give Loz her phone back. I love you so much and miss you millions. I can't wait to see you.
O- I love you too baby. Always and forever. I miss you too. I'm so proud of you and little man is already proud of his daddy. Speak soon.

That call was difficult, after we've all hung up I say to the girls "I wasn't the only one who found it hard during that call right?" They both shake their heads and Sasha says "No you wasn't, it's horrible to know there's nothing we can do to make it better and we've got to let them heal in their own time." Emily adds "They've all got each other and right now them lads need each other more than us as they get how they're feeling." We all agree and we get ready to bed as it's now late.

Phil POV:
We're all back and we're informed that we're travelling home tomorrow morning. I'm in shock but it makes me happier that I'll be back with Liv. I head to the bedroom and Jack says "you okay brother?" I shrug and say "yeah, kind of lad. I've just got a lot of thinking to do." He looks worriedly as we head into the bedroom, luckily I'm sharing with him. "Talk to me and tell me, I might be able to help. Is it Liv?" He says and I nod "is it too soon to ask her to marry me?" I ask and he looks at me shocked, "wow wasn't expecting that. But I would say no, I mean you're getting a son anytime in the next couple of weeks. She'll definitely say yes." We chat for a while but then say good nights. As I'm settling to sleep my phone buzzes and it's an instagram private message from the interviewer Hannah from earlier.
From HannahSmith:
