*Spain's POV*

The next morning, I woke up to a beautiful morning. A nice warm glow of the morning sun seeped through the cracks of my door, illuminating the room that I was in. I got up out of bed and headed towards the door. And as soon as I opened my door... México was right in front of me (still in the clothes that he was wearing last night), with my room key in his hand... and a jalapeño in his mouth.

"México?! W-what are you doing?!"

"What the hell does it look like I'm doing? I was going to open your door to fucking wake you up..."

"Uh... what's with the jalapeño?..."

"What? I can't eat my freshly grown jalapeño in the morning?"

"You can.. never mind me asking..."

"Anyways, since your up here."

México handed me a juicy ripe tomato, that glistened in the morning light.

"I wake up really early in the morning, so I make breakfast for everyone. So I went to my garden, and picked some vegetables. And I grabbed this tomato for you for breakfast, just a starter, I'm still making breakfast, and this..." México picked up a plate that was on a nightstand, it had 3 waffle sticks on it.

"This is for Philippines..."

"It's just waffles with nothing ..."

"It seems like it, but it has chocolate stuffing's in it. Philippines likes to start her day with something sweet."

Then México turned and went to Philippines room. He knocked on the door waiting for permission to come in. Philippines must've said something, but it was quiet, but with it, México came into Philippines room. I could hear México talking to Philippines to wake up, and Philippines bed creak. I heard the plate that México was holding, set down. For a moment there were only silence. Then a laughter filled the air. I could hear Philippines laughing, thanking México. Those two then started talking. It made me smile hearing those two...

Maybe, what people say are true. Don't waste every minute of your life, spend it with your family, because there will be a day where you will never see them again, never be able to apologize, and if you had never gotten along... you will never be able to have any connection with them. You will never be able to re-create the connection you both once had. Never be able to turn back the clock.

Well... it seems that I sort of had...

"Oh! Magandang umaga Spain!"

"Buenos días Philippines." I said.

"Well..." México said as he got up. "I'm gonna make breakfast. You two get dressed and ready."

"What about you, kuya? You're not exactly fully dressed either, like us." Philippines told México.

"Don't count me..." and then he left.

"Did I really missed out this much Philippines?" I asked her.

She hesitantly shook her head. "Oo... you did... And it's hurt kuya very much... You don't know how much he's missed you, and how much he's angry at you... He's hurt from the past, and is still trying to get over it..."

"Oh..." I remembered the past. Back then I only looked out for Roma pretty much. I remembered  México, my little brother... who's protected Philippines in my absence... I left them, and they were probably as young as Roma...

*Third Person Point of View*

The three all had breakfast and got ready and went to markets and stores around the place. Getting everything they were going to need for the Day of the Dead. It was day 2, and they had 11 days left before the Day of the Dead. Spain hoping that he'll be able to change México's mind about being mad at him, and re-create his brother relationship. México trying to figure out if his dreams were trying to tell him something, and to see what will happen towards the Day of the Dead. And Philippines wondering if they'll be able to spend their Day of the Dead together as a family for once...
