𝓗-inata's game was in a few hours. You had decided to get together with Yachi and all her other friends from high school, which were also Hinata's friends. You still had to learn some of their names, but you knew most of them.
You sat next to Yachi and Sugawara. Sugawara was good at keeping things calm unlike the others. You found him nice to talk to. He seemed to have interest in you.
"How was your trip at home?" Sugawara asked as Hinata and his team warmed up in the background.
You looked up at Suga and tilted your head. "Oh! My trip was great. I got to see my friends and family which was nice." Suga nodded as you talked about your trip. He smiled. "Sounds like a nice place." You nodded. "Not as beautiful as Japan but still nice."
You really liked it here in Japan. The people were so kind, sports were everywhere, but and there were many different places to visit that you've never seen before. Even the food is amazing and cheap! But you always had an attachment back at home and you always will.
As the game began to start, the crowd got quiet to pay attention. Cheers were going on in the background. Your ears filled with the sounds of shoes squeezing and the volleyball being hit back and forth over the net.
All of Hinata's friends cheered for him after every point he managed to make for his team. Watching volleyball games were so interesting to you. Usually you were used to playing rather than watching. Especially men's volleyball.
Watching Hinata play was even more interesting to you. The way he flys when he jumps up to the net. The way his arms move and how fast he can move his legs to the ball. He looked so angelic to you. Even when he was drenched in sweat he looked hot. You definitely missed him.
After admiring Hinata they had scored more points.
The game had went on and the cheers continued. Before the game was ending, it was game point. Hinata was up to serve. Usually game point serves can be a lot of pressure for players, but Hinata looked at ease.
"I remember back in high school when it was Hinata's first year. He was always shaking in his boots, especially when he had to serve." Sugawara chuckles.
You looked over at him in awe. "Our very first practice game, Hinata had to serve and all of us were scared just as much as Hinata was because he was jittery the whole game. He ended up hitting Kageyama right in the head!" Sugawara laughed a bit as he explained one of Hinata's first games to you.
Kageyama ended up overhearing your conversation and glared. "I was 100% sure it was on purpose." Kageyama scoffs causing you all to laugh.
Knowing Hinata now it might have been on purpose. But he seemed like a fun person to be around in high school. You couldn't really imagine it knowing how much he's grown now.
You've only met him this year.
After Hinata had made a successful serve the ball came back over eventually. But one of Hinata's teammates hit the ball over ending the game. All of MSBY's cheer section got up and shouted a guys name. "Bokuto! Bokuto!" He must've been the one who scored the point. He seemed like a lively one as well.
The man everyone had been shouting at seemed super pumped. He got up with his fists in the air and yelled just as loud as the cheer section. It caused you to chuckle. Hinata looked just as happy.
After the game ended, you and everyone you came with went down to the court to give your congrats to the team.
Obviously the first person you went to was Hinata, and the only person you would congratulate. Mostly because you knew none of his teammates so it was no hard feelings.
Hinata had sweat dripping all over. He had a towel over his neck and he had been chugging a water bottle like his life depended on it. As you walked up to him he noticed you and rose his brows as he continued to drink his water.
You couldn't help but notice all the fan girls glare and share some whispered as they looked at you when you went up to him. But you tried not to be bothered by it.
"Good game." You smiled and he nodded. "Yeah." He said breathlessly. "Best game yet all thanks to you." You rolled your eyes. "Yeah okay."
"What I'm serious!" You both chuckled. "I didn't do anything." You said as you nudged his arm. "Doesn't matter, you came to support me, that's enough." He nudged your arm back causing you to roll your eyes again. "I told you I wouldn't miss it." You smiled and it caused Hinata to give you a cheeky smile back.
"Who is this lovely girl, huh?" One of Hinata's teammates came up from behind him, interrupting our conversation. He was tall, blonde, with an undercut. He kinda looked like a bee.
"I'm [Y/N]." You introduced yourself with a smile. He smiled back. "Atsumu." He introduced himself as well and gave Hinata a smirk. "Didn't know you had a girlfriend." He added. Hinata just chuckled and didn't deny it which made you think a bit. Does he think we're dating or does he just not want to argue about it.
You and Hinata never made it official and you were still getting to know Hinata. So why wouldn't Hinata just say you weren't his girlfriend? But Hinata still didn't say anything.
"She not my girlfriend yet..."
