Radhe Radhe readers💙🦚✨,
Read the authors note in the end.

Kavin's POV,

I got up early today. Today it's officially purvi's first day here. I know I shouldn't be but honestly, I am a little stressed out today. I just want her to feel comfortable here and not feel like she is burdened with this marriage.

The actions which I witnessed yesterday were enough for me to feel so. Well after that episode, yesterday I called up her psychologist, who has been treating her for a very long time. I booked an appointment for her, I have been pretty shocked knowing that Purvi did not pay a visit to her in these two months. Like such carelessness with her health, It won't be tolerated by me.

I told the psychologist about the episode, and she appreciated me for taking up the right step at that time. At that moment, I felt like I kept the promise which I made to her, to take care of her. She also informed me that Purvi's mental condition has been improving lately, so she might be able to recover in 3-4 months. I am happy to know that! I wish I could take all her pain away.

I did not ask her about purvi's details like how she got the trauma because I understand her privacy and would give her space. Another thing, The psychologist would certainly not share it with me to maintain her patient's privacy too.

I just wish, That at some point in time, Purvi trusts me enough to tell me all about her past. That nightmare was not just a nightmare but a 'memory' I know. Her muffled voice, which I heard at night while waking her up, gave me a hint about her past. I could hear Ishita's name, she might provide me with some leads about it.

It's not like invading her privacy, but if I know it beforehand, like before purvi's outburst, I might come up with some help.
I heard the door's closing sound and turned behind to find Dushyant, ready to go to the office.

"Good morning" I tried to keep my voice steady but it came out lazily.

"Morning" He stood near the door. I knew what had he approached me for. Answers. Leftover Answers.

"Kavin, Purvi thik toh h na?" I could sense the tension rising in the room.

"H-Haa, Kyu? K-ky-kya hua?" Believe me, I tried hard not to stutter.

"Wo kal raat..."Better this sentence remains incomplete.

"Haaa kal raat. Wo purvi ko nightmare aaya tha. Usne mujhe btaya tha ki usse usually aata rehta h, Wo stress ki wajha se, but ab kam ho gya h" I hesitantly turned back towards the mirror "Woh shaadi ke stress ki wajah se aa gya hoga, tum toh jaante ho usse-"

"Kavin!" His heavy voice stopped my unnecessary ramble. Shit! Why did I have to do this always when I am nervous or lying? I was never good at lying and these situations brought up nothing but embarrassment to me.

"Bhai!"I shouted sarcastically while trying to cover up for my previous mess.

"Bhai dekho, mai na sabko sab kuch sach sach bta dunga par has purview ko comfortable hone do waise hi uske liye sab naya h" Finally, He nodded in understanding to my relief.

"Chal thik h, par ye bta ki kal mere phone se Ishita ko call kisne kiya tha?"
Shit! Not again.

"Saale, tujhe pta bhi h, tune kya kiya?"
I started running towards the bed.

"Uska call back aaya tha aur number save nhi tha, Maine phone utha te hi-"

"Sorry bhai" Hushhhhh. That was a close one. I locked the door behind me while I heard loud banging on the door.

This smell. I sniffed a bit to smell it better. It's familiar, it's my favourite. Omggg! I need to hurry.

I rushed down the staircase as I saw Purvi setting the dining table. She was wearing a blue saree, Ik it's her favourite colour. The saree looked perfect on her. Her hair were wet, she had washed them ig. She wasn't aware of my presence as I tugged my coat a little, to make it perfect and my way to her.

"Good morning Purvi"  I spoke passing my charming smile on which every girl has her heart.
"Morning Kavin" she spoke totally unaffected. This girl is so hard to impress?

She pulled away a chair for me gesturing me to sit, which I complied. She put a plate in front of me and made her way to the kitchen.

Soon the food was served.
"Dushyant kahan h?" My mother asked me.

"Ummm...mujhe kya pta?" I replied nonchalantly. Totally clueless.

"Subah tere kamre me hi toh tha?, Kavin tune phir much kiya?"

"Nhi to maaa, mai kyu krunga?"

"Maaa issi me kiya h" A voice boomed from the back making me startle.

"Maaa tumhara beta na kabhi bada nhi ho pasta, isne mujhe apne room me band krrr diya tha, woh toh accha h purvi bhabhi ne same khol diya, wrna pta nhi kya hota?" He rambled. This stupid definitely has some issues with me.

Purvi was quiet the whole time. Even when everyone praised her cooking skills since it was her first day. They got to know about how perfect my choice is. I mentally patted myself.

"Arey Kavin, tune toh bhabhi ki taarif ki hi nhi? Tu bhi bta kaise bana h?" I swear, I saw a tint of blush on purvi's face, but she masked it up well. This girl! Well, whatever she's My girl!

"Bahut accha bana h" She smiled back at this and went into the kitchen. Her behaviour seemed weird today, I guess it's time to talk to her.

After this everyone headed towards their work, while Purvi and I, as we were on leave due to this marriage scenario, headed towards her psychologist's clinic.
