Chapter 22 [The Marriage]

Kavin's POV

She stepped down in a heavy-weight red colour lehenga with Ishita.

"Breathtaking" was all I could say at that point of time. She was elegantly dressed. I could feel my dream was about to come true. She look like a queen. My queen.

"Aise kya dekh rha h? Kuch der me teri hi ho jyengi" Dushyant teased.

I don't know why but I blushed at this sentence.

"arrey, bhai abhi se blushing and all! haaa not bad"Dushyant giggled while I hit him playfully on his shoulder.

Purvi's POV

I stepped down unhurriedly as nervousness took over me. I couldn't look up as I was blushing hard I don't know why?

I never felt this feeling before. It was all new to me. But I am damn sure it was not love! Love can never happen to me. If it will by chance I'll never show it because it gives only pain.

Immense pain!

Pain could never touch my heart anymore. I'll shield myself and protect my feelings. Purvi Malhotra can never fall in love.

Author's POV

Kavin forwarded his hand and Purvi accepted it still looking towards the ground. She didn't lift her to look at Kavin. Kavin felt awkward about her behaviour but shrugged his feeling off.

The marriage started.

"Aaj se aap dono pati patni h" The priest announced.

"I'm dono ki jodi side hi bani the"Madhavi said as they touched their feet.

Purvi immediately hugged her."Maaa" She said sobbing hard.
Kavin felt heartbroken seeing her crying like this but he composed himself.

As Purvi calmed down they took others' blessings as well.

"Chand is baby dhoodhi h Maine apne kavin ke like"Rohini commented proudly as She hugged Purvi.

She cupped Purvi's tear-stained face as she planted a kiss on her forehead, making her smile a little.

"Ms.Purvi Malhotra se ab Mrs.Purvi Kavin Khanna ban gyi aap.Ufff! Meri did kitni bad ho gyi" Ishita said dramatically wiping her fake tears away.

Purvi blushed a little as she said 'Mrs. Purvi Kavin Khanna' to which Kavin gave an amused look.

"Tumhari didi h toh kya hua, mera bhai bhi Suraj se kam thodi h?"Dushyant said with a playful smile.

Kavin nodded his head proudly first but when everyone in the hall laughed he realized what Dushyant had said. He instantly gave him a playful glare while Purvi giggled.

Time Skip:-

Kavin came into his room already very nervous to face Purvi. He reminded himself to not make her awkward as she was crying the whole ride to the mansion. Kavin was just glancing at her, though he couldn't see her like this but he had no option. He wanted to hug her and give her his shoulder to cry or tell her that if she wants then he can come live with her at her house, but he had to stay with his desicion. She was his better half now and he couldn't see his lady love crying.Still he didn't had any choice, he stayed silent and said some good things to her from time to time to calm her, which really helped.

He took a deep breath and entered his room.He looked curiously at the figure lying underneath the warm blankets with back turned towards him. He went forward and crouched down a little. As he just picked some of the blankets up, The beautiful face of his lady love was revealed.

"She looks so cute while sleeping too" Was all Kavin could say as he went aww seeing her sleeping like a child.
Legs folded till her stomach.Mouth is a little open.

Unconsciously, he leaned towards her. Pecked her forehead, caressed her hair a little and kept the cover back.

"Good night, Lady Love" He whispered.

So that's it for today.

Well, Ik a short update but it was all up in my mind rn.Actually I wasn't in a good mental state still but I just wanted to write something and update it for you guys cause Ik I have been very irregular.
