George lifted his head about 20 minutes before landing, but of course, he slept most of the time. Rubbing his eyes that he adjusted to look out the window, there was an orange- cloudy sky view with at least 100 little lights still on. "Is..is this really it...?"
The Brunette made sure it was his destination and started to grab his carry ons and head down. He anxiously stepped down the clanky firm stairs of the plane, a whole 12 hours of flying and sleeping, and now 8 stairs, then a ramp. time for him to find out if all that travelling would be really worth it."I'm.. definently, calm, yep -"
George mumbled on the last words, knowing at least Something would go wrong. Most likely his confession, he wasn't even sure Nick would understand his proper feelings since they've joked around before. Nick was always a close friend to george, and was there for him - but would it stay the same now he's in Florida?.. until then he thought he'd better wait another 6 months then intended.
Alas, he was here now, he couldn't waste too much time.
At the front desk, he proceeded to get checked into the Florida airport system, which usually in london takes at least 20 minutes. Afterwards, he stopped to grab an early morning coffee from the airport Café, waiting for the conveyer belt to start up. Heading down after he grabbed the coffee, he stood, trying to keep a low profile, shifting feet on the spot.
He grabbed his luggage when it arrived on the conveyer belt and started walking toward the blinding automatic doors when a shadow popped around the corner, making George pause in his spot. Waiting for the figure to get closer, he began to recognise a familiar face emerging from it. One of his favrioutes.
"I thought I'd see you at the house!- what is this," George smirked, questioning if this was a prank already. "Is this some sort setup,"
"Well..in a way, yes," Nick smiled down about 30 degrees down at the Brunette-
"I'mm actually ur cab driver!,""Im supposing that's why you're wearing a grey jacket with your name printed on it," George eyed at his shirt
"Uh, yeah! actually," Nick laughed a bit at George's pinpoint and began to head out the door, wheeling George's suitcase, walking to the right whilst talking
"Ah, thanks," George's head wobbled slightly, probably from the
"No worries, I had a few airport shifts early this morning and I'm done for today, I need to drop the service car off at 5:00 so I thought id pick you up while I can,"
George smiled,
"Nick, you shouldntve.. I hope im not making you lose time to drop off the car,"Nick huffed,
"Are you kidding me? It's my job to look after you, I'm your best friend!"
"Okay, okay," George's smile widened slightly, "but I swear if you treat me like a king while I'm hear, I'll have to tickle you," George grinned.Nick pulled a face of dramatic offence and huffed again, speaking in a "sad" tone
"So you're saying I'm not allowed to treat my best friend like a legend??""Presicly," George put his hands in his pockets, tilting his head.
"Well too bad, now hurry up or I'll leave without you, pf"
George rushed and hopped into the front of the car whilst Nick packed the suitcase safely in the boot and close it, jogging to the driver's side and getting in, strapping himself up and driving off.
