I was sitting in my math class, tapping my pen on my desk, trying to make sense of the numbers in front of me. Suddenly, the intercom crackled to life.
"Isaac,Max,Echo, and Ash, please report to the principal's office."
My friends, Max, Ash and Echo looked at me quizzically. We had no idea what we could have possibly done to get called down to the principal's office.
We walked down the brightly lit hallway as fast as we could without getting into trouble. Upon entering the room we found that a priest greeted us. He looked weak and pale as he informed us that a demon was on the loose in our city and that he needed our help.
"What? Us? How can a bunch of untrained kids help catch a demon? This is ridiculous!" exclaimed Max loudly.
The priest did not seem offended or surprised by his reaction. "I know it sounds strange but trust me when I say that each of you has been chosen for a reason," he said calmly.
We obviously took the job, it's not like we had a choice. We were given a map and a set of instructions and we were then off. We had to get to the church and stop the demon before it destroyed our town!It was a long journey, one that none of us were prepared for. We all held on to each other, trying to keep our spirits up. We were determined to stop this demon and save our town, no matter how scared we were.
The map led us to the church, but it was too late. The demon had already caused destruction. We were heartbroken, but determined to put an end to this. We searched the church, looking for any clues that would help us find the demon. Suddenly, we heard a noise coming from the basement. We quietly made our way down, trying not to alert the demon to our presence. When we reached the bottom, we saw the demon sitting in the middle of a circle of fire, surrounded by ancient artifacts. The demon turned to face us, its eyes glowing with a sinister energy. "What brings you here?" it asked in a deep, menacing voice. "We're here to stop you," Ash replied bravely.
The demon laughed, a deep, guttural sound that echoed through the room. "You foolish children think you can stop me? I am far more powerful than you could ever imagine."But we didn't back down. We stood our ground, ready to fight for our town and our lives. With a sudden burst of energy, we all charged forward,Echo stood in a corner recording this fight,we were ready to take down the demon. The battle was intense, but in the end, we emerged victorious. The demon was captured, and our town was saved,or that's what we had thought. We called ourselves heroes and celebrated. However, as the night wore on, we couldn't shake the feeling that something was off. We had all seen things during the battle that we couldn't explain, like strange symbols etched into the demon's skin and a darkness that seemed to cling to its very being.
