When the dismissal bell for advisory rang everyone scurried out of the band hall. Although the band hall was now empty Daichi and Yoshiki were still lagging behind as usual.
Yoshiki stood up from his chair and turned to Daichi.
"Do you want me to put your clarinet up?" he offered.
"Yeah...arigatou," Daichi resounded.
Nodding, Yoshiki picked up both of their clarinets and headed for the smaller room full of instruments.
Yoshiki closed the door behind him and proceeded into the deserted room. Yoshiki placed both clarinets neatly side by side on a low shelf. After that he just stood there. In the silence. Thinking.
Meanwhile, Daichi was still waiting outside. It's been five minutes. Daichi thought. They were about to be late for class but, they usually didn't care.
Daichi was starting to get anxious. He decided to go check on his companion. Daichi quietly opened the door and the scene in front of him broke his heart.
