This is the story of my first day of school, especially my locker troubles that day. It was a very exciting day. For me at least, it is kinda boring in story form, but you just had to have been there. The other stories will be better though.
I walked into the school building that morning feeling anxious and nervous about my first day. I remember looking at my hands and actually shaking. I was terrified. When the bell rung for us to go to class, I started worrying about being late, and what if I walk into class and there's a bunch of 8th graders there and I realize I went to the wrong room, what if u lose my schedule and forget what my next class is? So many terrifying thoughts went through my 12 year old mind that day.
I remember the first thing I did that day was I went to my locker to figure out what I needed and get myself in order. I counted the seconds till the one minute bell rang to make sure I wouldn't be late. As I tried to open my locker I realized that, as I kept spinning the lock, it didn't open, so I just had to hope that we wouldn't do any work because my binder for that class was in my locker.
It turned out that all the classes that day were about classroom rules and whether we could eat in class or not. At that time, I had no idea that we could eat in class in jr high, I think that had made my day.
I finally got my locker open right before 6th period, but by then I realized i didn't even need it open. We were even allowed to chew gum in all our classes, which was new too. The day was in all a good day.
