Mate

Worried

Damion's been so distant lately. His touch seems cold and his eyes shine with hate when they land on me. I didn't understand what i did but i knew why he was like this. His father died and his mother was going to die soon. I kept an eye on his mother lately. I visited her from time to time. She was getting worse and looked pale. Her voice was quite but gentle. I was worried to be honest of both of them. I walked into the Luna's room and instantly regretted it. She was on her bed holding the Alphas picture with her eyes closed and a smile on her face.
'She's passed away. She's with the Moon Goddess now.' My wolf told me. I let a tear fall and silently sobbed until the doors to her room flew open and arms wrapped around me.
"Why are you crying?" Damion asked and I just sobbed harder. I looked into his beautiful eyes. It's been so long sense I saw then looking at me lovingly and worried then it hit me. He hasn't noticed.
"Oh Damion I'm so sorry." I cried silently. I then felt him tense up and his body started to shake.
"She's, she's gone isn't she?"He asked turning us away so I saw her and he didn't.
"Yes." I whispered sadly. My hand automatically flew to my neck. His mother had given me a heirloom that has been passed down from Luna to Luna. It was a symbol that you were accepted into the family and also welcomed into the pack. I smiled down at it.
"What are you looking at?" He asked while we started to leave the room. I could hear the heart break and sadness in his voice and I could tell he was linking to the rest of the pack about the lose of our Luna.
"This necklace your mother gave me." I said lowly looking at my feet. We had stopped at his room and he lifted my chin up to look not only at my face but the necklace it's self. He smiled weekly at it.
"She loved you, you know she never blamed you for your father's death never in fact she wished you'd stop mourning over him and look at it as a sign from the Goddess herself that it's your time to be Alpha and to show everybody your not an Alpha to be messed with." I said to him looking into his eyes hoping he wouldn't be mad at me. Instead he smiled.
"She said that?" He asked and I nodded
"Well she forgot something." He said abd I tilted my head.
"What is it?" I asked and he smiled
"To also show that my mate will be just as great and beautiful as her." He said and hugged me. I leaned in to it. I smiled as I looked up at him. Suddenly a wave of pain hit me.
"Agg!" I cried out while looking at my hands. They were the worst area that hurt. My palms were red and large waves of heat came off them. When the next surprising wave of heat hit it came from between my legs.
"Damion!" I shrieked in pain and his eyes turned black.
"Mate!" He purred while staring at me. I was confused until my wolf whispered.
'Were in heat quickly try and get away his wolf will instantly want to mark us and complete the mating ceremony.'I nodded and took off best as I could. I ran into my room and shut the door automatically locking it.I heard a loud growl and my door shook.
"Let me in!" He sneered from outside the door.
Oh man this is going to be a long week!

-.- I bet you all r doing what that face is doing glaring I know I hadn't updated in like freaking forever but I forgot my password and school was sucking butt and I had other books to update and butt loads of family drama so I'm like so so so so so so so so so so 100000000000000000000x so's later sorry for not updating but here you go this is just like a filler chapter tbh I got to get back into character and stuff so yea next chapter will be about her and Damion fighting against her heat and start questioning about her father's hated towards her. How'd her mom actually die? Was it because of her or something else? How is Damion coping? What is her father's next move? Lastly can they fight the heat and desires or fulfill the mating ritual and release her inner demons?
