Two Weeks Later

The apartment was dark and quiet when she sauntered in, rubbing the back of her head as she sighed deeply, throwing her keys carelessly somewhere. The exhaustion in her body was enough for her to drop on the couch and sleep for days, but the black outline of a person immediately made her pull out the gun from her purse, aiming it straight at the unwelcome guest.

"Hello." The lights that were turned on blinded her for a moment, but she was soon able to see clearly again and into those dark eyes of Min Yoongi's right hand man. His hands were lazily raised, gun sprawled on the kitchen table.

"What do you want from me?" Nayeon gritted through her teeth.

"A talk." Jungkook stood, picking up a mandarine from the marble fruit bowl. "Hope you don't mind."

"Who are you?"

Jungkook chuckled. "Don't pretend like you don't know me. You all do. What else did go to that stupid academy for?"

"What do you want?" She gritted again, her handgun shaking in her grasp.

"I think you know exactly why I am here. You know exactly where that person that my boss wants is, and you're gonna give me that location."

"I don't know what you're talking about. Now get the fuck out before I kill you myself.

Jungkook sighed. "You see, I've been following you for a while now. I know what you do, your schedule, who you text, who you call, who you see. Who your mother is -"

"You leave her out of this you piece of shit!" Nayeon cried, allowing Jungkook to disarm her in seconds.

"Do as I say and nobody gets hurt. Pick up the phone."

Nayeon hesitated for a moment, but grabbed the phone from his grasp.

"Miss Im, what a pleasure, I suppose." Yoongi spoke.

"Where is she? Where is my mother Min Yoongi?!"

The glass of whiskey in Yoongis' hand he gulped, not wasting a minute in answering her desperate questions. "That's what I have questioned every day for the last months. Where is she? Where is my wife? You know where my wife is, and I have your mother. I assume you understand how to proceed after this?"

Yes, she understood, but she couldn't. She couldn't betray you like that.

But it was her mother.

The only living family member she had.

"I just want to be reunited with my wife, is that such a crime?"

I'm sorry.

I'm so sorry.

"A baby." She sobbed. "You have a baby.. I promise you it's true. I don't know it's name or the gender, but I saw her a couple weeks ago, she was pregnant, about to give birth. Please just -"

"You want your mother back, isn't that right Nayeon? Then I suggest you start talking, now."

And little by little, Nayeon spewed every single thing.

Yoongi's instructions were clear in her mind, and she followed suit.

Her mother was the only thing in her mind.
-
"Jinyoung, I'm fine. Myunghee is perfectly fine, you don't have to worry about us alright?"

His worry was almost humorable, to the point where it kind of exhausted you. But you understood where he was coming from.

Yoongi was still out there.

"Did you get her presents?" He asked through the phone, muttering a thank you to his assistant when the cup of coffee was placed on his desk.

"Yes!" You sighed, examining the room that was filled with children's toys. "And that is enough. She's two weeks, not 8 years old. I don't want her to group up spoiled."
