Hi! I'm Skyler Jenson. And I could tell from the beginning that I wasn't "Like other children". Or in my teachers' words, "Special" or "gifted".
I believe I should start in kindergarten. Apparently it wasn't "Normal" to know Trigonometry on your first day. So Half way through the year, my school decided to bump me up a few grades. Yep, five years old, beginning my sixth grade year. I did pretty well if you don't mind me saying.
But of course there was always the bully issue. The

I'm taller
I'm stronger"
It took every single bone in my body to not shove my pencil down their throats and yell " Well you know what, I'm a whole lot smarter so why don't you shut up!"
My parents found that maybe it was a better idea to homeschool me.
So their I was. I was becoming older, becoming smarter. I now had a younger sister, her name was Daisy. She had to sit through my homeschooling. Which was just basically sitting on our porch, every day, listening to my parents argue.
"No honey, You're not teaching Her correctly "
"Well you think you can teach her better?"
"No, you're teaching just fine, it's just that you aren't explaining the steps clearly to her"
Yep, every day, the same exact argument. The worst part was, I don't think they know they're doing it.In my spare time, I just sit down and wonder. But sometimes this wondering of mine, took me to a new world.
And this is my story, of a time where my uncontrollable wondering did.
