You recall everything that occurred that night. Your body starts to tremble in fear, and tears welled up in your (E/C) eyes, threatening to fall as you try to accept the fact that your brother and mom is no longer in this world. They are gone from this world.
Shinobu made an effort to make you feel better by caressing your back and saying "It's okay...". Her smile eventually fades away, and sympathy can now be seen in her purple eyes.
You used my haori with the maple leaf pattern to wipe the clear water out of your eyes. You feel that your back being caressed and her soothing voice is calming you.
After a whole minute of silence, you finally speak "Shinobu-san, you said you are from the Demon Slayer Corps, right?"
"Yes." Her smile slowly come back when she notice that you are starting to cheer up a little.
"I want to be a demon slayer too, can I?" You speak firmly.
Shinobu's eyes dilate slightly and her mouth curves into a tiny 'o' shape, but she swiftly returns to her usual serene expression with a smile. "I will talk to master about it, okay?"
