I knew my cousin was upset about something. Ni-ki wasn't paying attention to her at all. He was mostly focus on me and she took note of it.

She tugged me off to the side along with my mother "I know you two are close friends but you know I have a crush on him.".

"Sunoo,you can push those tendencies down for your cousin can't you?" My mom requested.

"No,I can't." I replied firmly. I know what this is gonna do but I can't hide it forever "What? Have you lost your mind? She's your cousin.".

"I can't do it because Ni-ki's my boyfriend." I just blurted out. My mom went dead silent,Devin looked at me with teary eyes "You're joking,right? He doesn't seem like that type of guy.".

"Cause he's pansexual, he's attracted to all genders..."

"And you're just gay..." I nodded. "Why didn't you tell us earlier? How long have you been dating?" My mom folded her arms. I knew she was disappointed but I wanted to come clean a long time ago "I was scared,you said you thought it was just a phase...and we've been together for two years now.".

"Have you done anything?" I shook my head lying "Only kissing...". "How are you gonna wait til marriage when you can't even get married?" My mom's question broke my heart.

"And HYBE hasn't said anything yet. What if they confirm it and your entire careers are ruined because of it? Let me have Ni-ki,please Sunoo."

"Even if I leave him, it's his choice who he wants to be with and right now we wanna be with each other. I'm sorry, Devin."

"We're welcome any time." I smiled as tears formed in my eyes. "That'll probably be soon,our careers are over." He nodded with a hum.

There was a long comforting silence between us. I moved towards him allowing him to hug me "You're really comforting to me,Riki.".

We laughed,I was sitting on Ni-ki's lap so I guess that made things even worse. "Yeah,guys,not infront of my food." Heeseung commented.

The doorbell rang,I got up to answer and froze seeing Sunmi. "Oh,noona...what are you doing here?" Please don't be here to criticise me,I can't take that with my mother's insults when I left her house.

I'm glad Riki's family atleast accepts us.
