The Drama Is Out

Chapter- 3

Jeonghan gazed out the car window, taken aback by the lovely scenery right in front of him.The sky was orange, with clouds reflecting a serene atmosphere.

The river beneath the bridge on which the car was travelling mirrored the same yellow-orange hue as the sky.As time passed, the sun began to set.

A phone call hindered his sightseeing. ''Hello?" Seungcheol answered the phone. "Yes, we're on our way to the hospital, and we're almost there.....Yes, we have already informed our manager about our schedule to visit the hospital.....Yes, okay."

Seungcheol declined the phone after answering it and noticed Jeonghan from his side seat asking him, "Who called?" "Yeongji hyung ,He called to confirm if we had permission from the manager," Seungcheol remarked, earning a nod from the youngster.

Seungcheol drove on. Jeonghan took advantage of the opportunity to gaze at the boy driving in the side seat, who was looking charming. The yellow-orange sky falling on his face and his hand, which was grasping the moving wheel of the car, simply enhanced his beauty.

But then Jeonghan noticed the boy clutching the stirring wheel tightly.He saw the older coughing slightly ,which was obviously a fake cough.

Jeonghan knew it was fake and also knew that Seungcheol used to pull off that action when he was annoyed or embarrassed.He thought he was the reason why Seungcheol felt irritated as he was staring at him, which caused Jeonghan to frown and return his gaze to his surroundings.

After then, it was only silence, and not the comfortable silence they were used to, but an uncomfortable silence that upset Jeonghan.So he decided to put up the question that had been running through his mind.

"Cheol, about the drama-"but was cut off by Seungcheol, who said, "Oh look, we've arrived at the hospital.You go to the hospital entrance, and I'll park the car and meet you there, okay?" Jeonghan could simply say okay and got out of the car to walk to the the entrance.

"Mr. Yoon Jeonghan, Dr. Kim is calling you in for your checkup." Said a nurse, glancing at the young men waiting for their turn for a check-up.The boys bowed and entered the room where Dr. Kim was seated.

They approached the doctor and bowed, to which he reacted by smiling and bowing back."How are you doing, Mr. Jeonghan?""Long time no see, huh?" Dr. Kim said. "I am good, how about you, docter?" Jeonghan grinned. To which he said, "I'm fine."

"Seungcheol-shii, it's been a while since I've seen you; how are you?" Seungcheol smiled and said, "I am good sir, but that is not the case with Jeonghan; he has been experiencing back pain for a few days."Pain relievers were also ineffective."

The doctor nodded and said to Jeonghan, "Jeonghan -shii, please sit on the bed, and I will arrange for your body checkup and tests."

Jeonghan sat on the bed, while Seungcheol sat on the chair.The doctor examined Jeonghan and took an X-ray of his back.He then requested the boys to wait for a moment while he stepped out of the room to get the reports.

He returned after some time with a file and sat, saying, "Well, Jeonghan shii, don't worry too much, the results aren't risky." Both boys breathed a sense of relief as a result.

"But you need to be cautious about your back," he said, "because there is a slight strain on your back that can only be treated with a lot of rest. So I call on that you take a few days break from practising."

Jeonghan nodded and asked, "3 days of rest is enough for recovery, right?" The doctor opened his mouth to speak, but Seungcheol interrupted, saying, "No, Han-ah, you need at least one week of rest. Your back is strained, and it still feels more than it should."
